I don't post much, I am too busy reading what all the rest of you are saying, but I have to agree with you about the stick thing. I still can't believe this is such a big issue. It is mind boggling to me that such obviously educated people as the ones that post on FR, are so hung up on the Bush twins speech. There are much more important issues to talk about like how much A$$ Arnold kicked tonight.

God bless.

That's what I have been trying to get across -- this was aimed at the college age kids. Thanks for getting it!

Your comment is reasonable, and that is the type of thing REAL people will come away with, I think. Many of the super political folks won't get it, but they don't have to - and though I was reserving my opinion earlier, I have decided that they will have a positive effect in getting 20s voters to the polls for the President.

I want to come to your place! My cat never gets into a fight - she just lies there like a big furry lump and snores.

Come on over. We have two days of non-stop RNC left. And I'm very impressed so far. All the topics they crammed into one evening tonight...like a smorgasboard

What is wrong with "young" Ronnie Reagan? (Never mind.)

He actually just said on msnbc, Arnold's speech was really just an ordinary speech.

He didn't seem to be joking.

Stuffed shirts is right.

Must've had pretty dull lives in their 20's because I remember mine quite clearly, though I'm embarrassed by 'certain' aspects. We all had them, though some are apt to gloss over the details.

I'll have a teenager in a short six years.

He's asking intelligent questions for the age of seven about the electoral college, conventions in general and how candidates are selected.

My pubbie in training is so fantastic. Now it's off to bed before our 'day before school' tomorrow.

I'll let you battle the stuffed shirts for us!

I was surfing between CNN, FNC & Chrissy.

What really disturbed me was the attitude on Fox about the Bush girls.....Mort Kondraike had no sense of humor and said they came across as giggly teens who were more interested in clothes than substance. Krystol (as expected) said that McCain's was the best speech so far.

I thought everyone was great tonight....the Dems had nothing that came close.

Even Judy Woodruff had good things to say about both Arnie & Laura.

All the pundits kept trying to remind the viewers of Kerry & speculating on a 'shake-up' in his campaign.

I don't know anyone who thinks gay marriage should be a big issue in this election.

How kind! Now all I have to do is wake up Madame so I can bring her over and she can see what real cats are like. Running the can opener always gets her attention, so I better find a long extension cord somewhere. :)

Give it up Major!

Anybody notice every time Major Garret (I may or may not have his name right) comes on, He tries to make his witnessing of one lousy insignificant protester who heckled Cheney the biggest news of the night.
