Threat Matrix: Daily Terror Threat - Thread SEVENTEEN
World Net Daily ^ | 8-10-04 | Paul Sperry

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

With the nation on high alert for al-Qaida terrorists, the Department of Homeland Security is putting its border officers through "etiquette" classes to soften their image and make them less threatening to arriving foreign immigrants, WorldNetDaily has learned.

That certainly would explain SARs erupting on the brink of war (and many here thought it was germ warfare from the getgo.)

Where does Russian fit in? Are they just being $opportunist$ or is there collusion? Obviously NK is on a Chinese leash and Iran is on the Russian leash.

Second concern would be finding out exactly who did it, and determining if there were any state sponsors behind them. If they used nuclear weapons, you can bet there is a nation behind them, because terrorists cannot afford the billions of dollars it takes to develop reliable nuclear weapons.

The very problem is non state entities likely have a weapon - perhaps already in the U.S. NEST and others are very active and have been for quite a while. Cops in NYC have been wearing radiation detector badges for many months, etc.

Scenario one: let's say ground zero were a Wahabbi mosque in LA. Who do we retaliate against?

Scenario two: Valid U.S. intelligence shows a top AQ operative in Sioux City, IA. He has a Ph.D. in nuclear physics and is suspected of helping acquire nuclear technology. A week later Sioux City no longer exists.
Who do we retaliate against?

Scenario three: A nuclear bomb detonates in Key West. A previously unknown islamic group claims credit and provides proof. Who do we retaliate against?

I'm not trying to be argumentative. I'm just throwing some questions out into the FR Ether.

Carve a hole in a watermelon and save the "plug." Jam in the neck of a vodka botte and place in the 'fridge after replacing the plug. Take to any football game and chow down.

Reminds me a little bit of a book by Tom Clancy: The Bear and the Dragon except in this case, I doubt very much that Ivan would be on our side.

"...so apologies if someone else answers this further down."

Not that I have noticed. I think there's only two of us. I have been reading what I can find on plasma and microwave weapons for quite some time. For anyone not a scientist, some of this stuff is pretty technical...and gets mixed up with conspiracy/ufo sites as well.

The SCRAM jet prototype (from what I recall) began its life at the old testing site named Woomera.

Like you, I have no doubt electromagnetic/plasma/microwave weapons technology exits. From reading about Tesla, HAARP etc my head is full of it. But where's the wheat and how much is chaff I have no idea.

As for plasma sightings, well, no tinfoil needed; I saw several myself some months ago in Queensland. Stunning light displays, brilliant flashes across the night sky off and on as if someone was flicking a switch. Concentrated brilliant light...NOT lightening. (Same phenomenon as shown on: http://www.earthfiles.com/Images/news/I/ItalyMontegranaroLight2.jpg

Collaboration with NZ isn't such a stretch IMO. Anti-war the present gov may be, but anti-defence? I doubt it. Poor NZ has to go along, they know they can't defend
themselves. (Applies to Oz as well.)

Have you read 'Scalar Wars The Brave New World of Scalar Electromagnetics' ?

"Later in February, Russia said it had successfully tested a space vehicle that could lead to weapons capable of penetrating missile defences. Details remain sketchy, but military analysts believe the device is a maneuverable ballistic missile warhead."

Isn't this in violation of a treaty?

Sounds like the good old Cold War, doesn't it?

One never knows if the Russians actually do anything like this or if they just beat their chests and pump up their egos.

Our missile defense system scares them all silly because we will not be intimidated by their missiles.

During the Iraq War, there was a Russian military arms site bragging about all the wonderful tech they had given/sold to Saddam. IIRC, they bragged then of having satellite destroyers. Nothing came of it, of course, and their weapons were not as good as our defenses or our offense.

I think we only know if they really have anything if we hear that our State Department is making noises about it in the UN.

Yes, I had heard of your watermelon trick.

If God is good to me, I will never even have to be in the room with an open bottle of vodka, never liked it and 50 years ago, everyone said you couldn't smell it.

I can.

No, the point of my talking about injecting the oranges, is that it could be any poison injected in the orange.

Get your self a bottle of betadine solution...you can cover an arm and get the right amount absorbed through your skin according to a Hershey Medical Center article that came out after 3 Mile Island.

Actually ... I hang with some very practical-minded folk in my real life.

I've had a most clever little Potassium Iodide kit for a couple years now that, conceivably, could save me and everyone on my block. =)

Personally ... I like my Mom's take on things: Stay in a state of grace and remember always that Hope is the Christian commission.

I see no point in taking the bait, paying attention to all the blinking lights or running the mazes they've laid to keep us busy in our cages.

If they used nuclear weapons, you can bet there is a nation behind them, because terrorists cannot afford the billions of dollars it takes to develop reliable nuclear weapons.

You'd better read the book by Paul Williams called Osama's Revenge: The Next 911 and you'll discover that in all likelihood, AQ has purchased several (perhaps more) small so called SADM's (Special Atomic Demolition Munition's) aka a "Suitcase Nuke." These can vary from .2 to 10 kilotons. The Soviet Union admitted after it's collapse that they were "missiong" as many as 25 of these for use on our country in the event of all out war with us. These weapons have been (alledgedly) sold to AQ by (take your pick) the Russian Mafia, the North Koreans or rogue KGB agents. The asking price is waaaaay below "billions" of dollars. This intelligence has been independently confirmed by MI6, MOSSAD and NATO intelligence as well as the CIA.

HipShot can fill you in on how these weapons could be detonated and or activated and why the fissionable material is likely still good even after the fall of Russian communism.

Who do we retaliate against in the event of a nuclear attack by any Islamic faction? We turn Mecca and Medina into a new geographical area that shall be henceforth known as "Oil Under Glass."

Vodka does have a rather distinct odor. My father was a native born Russian and trust me I grew up around the stuff.

I know what you meant, but I think for a widespread attack to be initiated, it'd take a LOT of syringes and oranges headed to different areas. Otherwise it's likely to be taken as an isolated and localized incident. Much like the Tylenol murders some years ago.

Interesting.

It is late here, so I skimmed a bit and bookmarked for tomorrow.

I'll show it to my husband. He was interested in the Tesla experiments years ago.

I don't have the math for all this, either, so I appreciate a lay presentation.
