NEW GALLUP POLL WILL SHOW BUSH UP BY 3. BEFORE THE CONVENTION, KERRY LED BY 4.

I've heard the worst bounce in history was 7 points for a challenger. This is a -7 point 'bounce'.

SamAdams76 posted yesterday that the worst post-convention bounce was McGovern's -3 in 1972.

I wonder how much of a bounce Dubya will get after the Republican Convention. Perhaps, a 20 to 25 point bounce for the President?

Boy. Wouldn't that be sweet. I'm praying for a 50 state trounce on Lurch, "The Almighty Nuanced One."

"....Michael Moore will disappear from the Kerry/Edwards political band wagon ... guaranteed....."

If Michael Moore was such an asset at the convention, why wasn't he invited to join the bus tour? I'm so surprised Ben was asked instead of Michael. On the other hand, maybe they had to consider their 'food budget'.

Oh, dear. And we were supposed to love Kerry once we got to know him. What could have gone wrong?

Where can one find these rat-retardant underwear?

I got mine at the one armed guy's army surplus store. I think it's left over from the Gray Davis recall campaign.

For the MSM, talking about Kerry's negative bounce is preferable to mention of the fact that he's refusing to disclose his RAISE YOUR TAXES economic plan before he's elected. The former can be pooh poohed as snapshot statistics, and you'd get different numbers tomorrow. But the latter would have RATS dialing for a mortician.

I'm not surprised. Between the bunny suit, the hamster story, the swimmer, nutty Ter-ray-sa, Edwards telling people the government doesn't do enough for them, and the cherry on the cake - "John Kerry, reporting for duty!"

It was horrendous. I told my pastor this morning if Bush ever gives CPR to a rodent, and I hear about it, I'm voting Constitution party.

The only good thing was the Boston Pops concert. I would have liked to see that.

I would be worried about the undecideds deciding to provide a split government, voting for Bush and giving the demorats the senate.

That anyone would love him after getting to know him was a highly suspect assumption to begin with. Post-convention polling results appear to invalidate it completely.

"Lawn darts...I have no idea why the CPSC banned it"

I remember someone got hit with a dart in the head and killed. And if I remember correctly, it was a passerby.

I assume many of them spent the last 3 years in support of Bush's foreign policy but right now are undecided on old party loyalties or foreign policy agreements.

Actually, what they have a problem with is not foreign policy, but domestic policy (abortion, gay marriage, environment, etc.)

Security issues, in the end, will help them pull the lever for Dubya. I think in the post RNC Convention time period, the Swift Boat gang needs to make the Jersey Girls looking like shrinking violets...
