Greetings, Canteeners, Troops,
and All the Ships at Sea!
It's Recovery Day at the AT Follies with Sarge and The Kids of the KY Guard. Vehicles are getting washed, serviced, and prepped for the road march home. The barracks are getting all cleared out, ready to turn back in tomorrow. And the it's being dug for the FleshRoast this afternoon.
This has been the most accident-prone AT in recent memory. Eight injury incidents (Sarge was two of them), resulting in three Line-Of-Duty (LOD - Star, did you cover that one?) incidents. One vehicle broke down and was left for the recovery crews on the road march DOWN here. A "wall cloud" storm struck the training area, resulting in a loss of some equipment and a whole bunch of wet butts - but, "if it ain't rainin', it ain't trainin'....
Sarge will be back rolling into the driveway sometime Saturday afternoon, and back at the civilian world's cube farm early Monday morning.
So, here are a few Personals:
TONKIN/TOMKOW:Once again, the Camp is in full swing - or full SCHWING, depending on what pics you're currently looking at...
KATHY: You're still a legend in the barracks, ya know...
BEACH: I'll see you in the cubes, starting Monday, got that? Monday!
MOJO/STAR/BETHY/BETSY: (and any other of the DJ's I forgot) Here's to the lively tunes we'll see on the Juke Box this weekend! Think y'all can throw a little more classic rock in the mix?
HIJINX/KJFINE/USVET/ARROWHEAD:Hope all's well, Fellas. I haven't heard much out of y'all...
