Someone said last night that Dan Rather was tearing up talking about Pres. Reagan. I think it was more that he was in pain having to say something nice about the man instead of any real heartfelt emotion.

Bingo.

Rather HATED Reagan W. -- just as he hates George W.

I don't think so. Dan is a bit of an emotional flake. I'm frankly surprised that he doesn't tear up every time he is on the air.

Reporters who regularly slammed Ronald Reagan while he was president are quietly seething now that they're forced to mouth platitudes about the man's greatness, So don't. Say what you really think, you bastards. Go on. Then we'll all know who isn't worth reading anymore. And you'll reinforce the growing awareness of the fact that the Fourth Estate is the Fifth Column, as is rightly deserved.

Like Rush always says we are not the only ones thinking this. For any station other then Fox to talk about President Reagan is a crime!!!

"That will mean that the elite journalistic media will have gone through seven days of talking kindly about Reagan," said Noonan. "I would say that by next Friday night, they're going to blow." They already have started to blow.
I was amazed to see ABC segments honoring Reagan and his legacy...until an hour later they had a coven of Reagan haters pretending to respect him while bringing up every liberal talking point to smear his reputation.
I hope this backfires on the Dems.

It sure will be great to see Katie Colonic in the morning ( and all week ) as she has to grit her teeth and twist her colon to act like she's saying nice things about President Reagan. She may just want to call in in sick.

If the media "blows" it will be harming them not President Reagan. They probably don't know it but what's new? They are so out of touch in their ivory towers they have no idea how much they are despised. Let them try to trash him. Remember what happened with Broland, Streisand and CBS when they tried to run the "movie"?

Personally, I'm not going to watch most of it. I already know what to expect and there's really no point in seeing the libs squint and squirm and pretend to be nice throughout it. I'll record what Rush has to say tomorrow (if he's even there) and, when I have to watch, I'll tune in Fox but, frankly, I don't see the need.
But I'm holding off calls for the libs to act with dignity and respect, first because I believe many aren't capable of it and, secondly, because I don't want to dampen my own celebration when it's Clinton's turn. Let them show their true colors and, I, in turn, will show mine.
