Left Advocates Violent Attacks against "Military Targets" in United States

5/8/2004: Nazimedia: Attack US Targets

The San Francisco branch of Indymedia advocates violent attacks against “military targets” in the United States, in a post that was moved by the Indymedia overlords to their “hidden” area, but remains visible with a few clicks: Military Targets in the USA must be Attacked. (Hat tip: Rayra.)

UPDATE: The incriminating page has now been removed completely, after the Morlocks noticed referrals from LGF.

UPDATE: This is the text of the deleted Indymedia post:

Military Targets in the USA must be Attacked by al-masakin — Thursday, May. 06, 2004 at 7:13 PM

The torture of Muslim prisoners in Iraq in the “rape rooms” at the American Abu Ghraib prison confirms that the so-called American war on terror is really a war on Islam. George Bush has created a global gulag network of extra-legal and secret US prisons with thousands of inmates. This Gulag stretches from Afghanistan to Iraq, to Guantanamo and secret CIA prisons around the world. This Gulag exclusively holds Muslim prisoners.

In light of these revelations, Al-Masakin would like to take this opportunity to remind the American Muslim Mujahedin, and our allies in the revolutionary and anti-Imperialist left, that ROTC buildings, armed service recruiting centers, individual military personnel, and police officers are “military targets”. These institutions must be violently and covertly attacked. In fact, there are thousands of unarmed military targets walking around all over the United States. Outraged American citizens and American Muslims should have little difficulty making violent contact with recruits, cadets, marines, etc.

We strongly recommend that such contact be made with a very sharp knife, pepper spray, brass knuckles, baseball bats, firearms, explosives, or the bumper of a full sized automobile, truck or SUV.

Hey, Sb; you still quartered in Scarborough?

Thanks for asking Jaque, but sorry, we moved to Hollis when I was 14 and I settled down in Freeport, IL after my Air Force tour.

Love Beech Ridge though. My Dad used to drive modifieds.

Tight groups and stay safe!

One of the dames involved just got out of prison on this, over many vocal protests.

Yeah, I had her in one of the early Caption-A-Ramas. She looks even dumber than her politics.

I sent this threat and thread to a friend of my on the local PD and specifically mentioned this recommendation. His reply was:

"Yeah, well I recommend contact if they come across me be with an A-BOMB, cause if its short of that they will get every round of an AR-15 shot up their ass" ROFL

Stay safe.

Mind if I ask why .40 cal is so popular? What's the advantage over 9mm or .45?

There are several reasons as varried as the people who like the caliber.

A 9mm is an ok bullet which is great for females or anyone with a small build. It is, usually, hypersonic and since the rounds are small, pistols can carry quite a few (12-17 on average). It's downsides are the fact we try to stuff a lot of expectations into a little bullet. It's takedown, or stopping power, is lower than some 38 CAL loads. When used with standard "ball" ammo, several shots are needed to stop an attacker. Hollow points, af various types, work well, but they lack penetration ability. Even basic body armor can stop a 9mm bullet.

45 CAL bullets are great for stopping power. The 45 ACP is an older catridge, but why change what works? It also comes in a variety of configurations, including hollow points. It will usually drop a person in one to two shots. It's downsides are a larger 'kick' when compared to 9mm and a lower magazine capacity (avg 7-12 rounds in a pistol). Also, some people have a lot of trouble handling a 45 CAL pistol.

A 40 CAL is the compromise between the two. It has the high speed of a 9mm with takedown capacities nearing the 45 CAL realm. Thus, it becomes an easy to use caliber with a lot of utility in the self defense arena.

These are what I came up with in just a few minutes. There are several other differences amost the calibers and several other opinions depending on who you talk to. I personally own all three types and am waiting here in my quarters on an Army base for these fools to put their money where thier mouth is.

Instead they cover all the negative PR on President Bush and Sec of Defense Rumsfeld.

Of course they won't cover anything harmfull to Kerry....that would be...objective journalism. The Party (as Orwell would call the left today) could never allow that to happen!

Impossible. The left doesn't believe in firearms, full-sized automobiles, trucks, or SUVs.

Someone mentioned the 'Weather Underground'.   Here's a connection.  Also, a connection to the Tides Foundation.

I tested the Arissa links in preview and they no longer work (research from November '03).  The only exception is ARISSA MEDIA GROUP CATALOGUE.  Have posted the new link to the home page, but the radicalism has been toned WAY down.

New Arissa Link

About Arissa  - Excerpts:  The primary goal of Arissa is to create a political and social revolution in the United States of America.  We believe that none of the single-issue problems -  whether in the human, environmental, or animal categories - can be resolved until a political structure is put into place to allow for an atmosphere of change.  Arissa will have reached its goal when that revolution occurs.

Our Arissa Media Services Department was formed in late 2003 to provide necessary media relations for those conducting revolutionary actions in the United States.

Good question. The .40 packs more punch than the 9mm or .38cal, but not as much as the 10mm or .45cal. What prompted to acquire my Glock was its reputation for durability and reliability AND its 15 round capacity double-stack magazine, of which I have two (pre-ban.) The .45s then (and now) didn't have that capacity. Of course, I target in two-shot bursts, so 15 shots may be an unneeded luxury -- but reasuring. Also, the .40 costs less than $9 a box for target loads at Sports Authority, whereas the .45 ammo is much more money.

However, since the laws limiting the magazine capacity were passed, and 10 plus one are the limit, I would opt for a .45. As a matter of fact, I am now considering the ppurchase of a Kimber .45, a really fine and reliable gun.
Nonetheless, I am still quite fond of my Glock.

Imagine

PS, if you are looking, examine the HK and Glock in addition to the Kimber. The Kimber (believe it or not) is made in Yonkers NY while the others are european products. The Kimber in Stainless Steel will cost about $1,000 by the time you bring it home. The Glock will run between $5-600. There are a number of really fine .45 handguns on the market today.
PPS, THe key is practice, practice, practice. Get your two first shots on target and you may not need any more rounds!!!!
Peace and love !!!

Thank you, TGYC!

I discovered that the direct link to Indymedia on Rosebraugh and Pickering initiating Arissa no longer works, but my friend Google still had it.

Throw the stupid white (because I have $100 that says these are all white, middle class wannabes, prove me wrong, it's yours. There will be one winner only - disclaimer) bastards in jail, and let them rot there.

I'll drink to that. In fact, I agree with every word you've typed. KJ

Un-friggin-believable...

But am I surprised???

Nope...

But I have to wonder what its going to take to wake up the rest of the country to this credible, but laughable threat...

Because as soon as it manifests itself into action...It will be slapped down harder and faster than a red-headed step-child...

I think we can handle it...

Later,

This was always a war of Islam on Christianity and Judaism; nothing less. To frame it as a 'war on terrorism' is disingenuous, at best; a lie at worst.

Thanks for the ping! I'm just catching up on the day's discussion now and I didn't catch how the Weather Underground Organization got into the thread, but I will mention that the WUO and Halperin were both linked to IPS back around 1970, and IPS and the Tides Foundation both have received funding from the Samuel Rubin Foundation (which relates to the "Shadow Party" funding network being discussed on the other thread).

Also, the M.O. of targeting military installations emulates what the antiwar movement was doing in the early 70s. One thing the FBI's files on the VVAW mention is that the VVAW joined other antiwar groups in an effort to collect information on "the military-industrial complex".
