Family Remembers Fallen Mid-Michigan Soldier
Flags at half-staff for 1st Sgt. Aaron Jagger
By order of Gov. Jennifer M. Granholm, U.S. flags on all campuses of Western Michigan University and throughout Michigan will be lowered for one day, Tuesday, Aug. 22, in honor of Army 1st Sgt. Aaron D. Jagger, who died Aug. 9 while on active duty in Iraq.
Sgt. Jagger, age 43, of Hillsdale, Mich., was killed when an improvised explosive device detonated near his armored vehicle during combat operations in Ar Ramadi, Iraq. He had previously served in the first Gulf War and in Bosnia and was assigned to the Army's 1st Battalion, 37th Armor Regiment, 1st Armor Division, Friedberg, Germany.
I had the priviledge of being (then) SFC Jagger's Platoon Leader in Bosnia (1-35AR, 1AD) in 1998. 1SG Jagger was a good friend and mentor for a hot-blooded young LT like me. The world is at a great loss with his passing. Please forgive my feeble words as they can in no way fully detail the respect I have, and always will have, for 1SG Jagger.
My deepest sympathies to his family in thier time of mourning and my vow to all to continue the fight until the world is free from the terrorist menace. Until those who wish to be dictators no longer threaten. Until we can all come home as victors.

Though I doubt any leftist even has enough independent thought capacity left to question anything their masters in the DNC and media tell them. Then again, with leftists openly calling for armed revolution, calling for attacks on US Military bases and service members' families, and increasingly violent attacks on conservatives, I fear for the future of this country.

For an update, I went to the DNC hompage and looked up their platform and then looked up the National Socialist Worker's Party Platform, Green's, and then the CPA's platform (and then fumigated my computer). Here they are in no particular order. Can anyone tell the difference?
I see little difference between them.
In addition, I have just a few samples of the left (this time from Indymedia) either rejoycing in US soldiers dying (the SGT Hassan Ackbar act of treason), "protest" signs calling for the death of US Soldiers, or detailed threats against soldiers and our families.
