"Well, Senators, what can you expect? After all, the Bush Admin inherited the fabulous military you Senators say Bill Clinton built, and these actions were under the direction of some of Clinton's military officials."Hey, didn't HILLARY CLINTON say that the military winning the war on terror today is Clinton's military??

Chambliss - Rummy a good leader. No one should question him. Commends him and his selection of Gen. Miller. Has seen and visited interogations himself.
Ah, Chambliss is now turning - faulty system. Acts happened on NIGHT SHIFT. MPs not trained. 800th poor leadership and poor training but it's also failure in chain of command. Good ol boy system, need to get to bottom and crimminal action of all involved.
Rummy - agrees investigation should go forward.

By what Rummy said he just showed the Dems that he is more of a true patriot to this country then they could ever hope to be.Where the Dems go for everything to tear down this country,Rumsfeld just showed that he would put the country ahead of himself if it was best for the U.S.This man should not step down!

All this talk of resignation during this hearing is making me nervous
To: prairiebreeze
You're right. As long as he doesn't actually resign. Because the next step would be Bush.

They need to move it along if this ends BY 2:30 Eastern.
[Rummy apparently has a meeting with a House committee that cannot be rescheduled or delayed.]
