That picture is so precious. No words are necessary. The hell you say...
That's My Boss!
When people are in trouble, and all seems to be so wrong,
A man steps forth without the crowd, to be so gently strong,
and demonstrates determination, without being cross
and you're proud to say to all around who hear you, "That's My Boss!"
He calls no attention, makes no pretense, knows just what he needs,
to bring us comfort, resolve and strength - or simply put, he leads;
Just like a pro, he'll deftly field what evil men will toss,
and they just stand in shock and awe, while the troops say, "That's My Boss!"
He's walked with us, he's worn our boots, flown with us in the skies,
a steel glance that withers, if you dare to meet those eyes,
but also, can shed healing tears, as rain on forest moss,
and that lump just will not leave your throat, as you murmur, "That's My Boss!"
So, jaded pol or hardened cynic, meet this noble man,
belittle him, if you dare, or try to best him, if you can,
for even hardest heart will change, and take up America's cause,
and you'll stand along with me, and say with feeling, "That's My Boss!"

I am once again not surprised but my admiration of the man somehow keeps growing deeper."Deeper" is such a perfect word for it, lawgirl.
It is a deep down, profoundly spiritual respect and admiration that only gets more fervent with time, because he keeps doing God-led things like this.

I must admit, I learned an important life lesson looking at pictures of George W. Bush during the 2000 campaign. After years of watching Bubba leer at everything in a skirt, I noticed that every single time (and I mean
every single time!) I saw a picture of Dubya talking with a woman, he was looking her right in the eye. It is like the man had some kind of limit in the range of his motion that made it impossible for him to look down. I realized how comfortable this made women feel, and it has been my model ever since.
President Bush is the Real Deal.

Everything the Dems try to do to besmirch him does seem to slide right off. They called Reagan the teflon president, and never seemed to have a clue that the reason their filth wouldn't stick to him was because he was a genuinely good and decent man whose strength was grounded in his faith and character. I believe the same is true of President Bush. I haven't always agreed with every decision he has made, but I've never doubted the integrity of his motives.

"I have some policy differences with the President, but one thing I am sure of - this is a decent, honorable man worthy of my vote. A far cry from the previous occupant of the White House!"You said it for me.

hamming it up for the camera at a moment like this.
President Bush could care less about the camera. It's natural for him.. because he cares.Oh, I know that - I hope that you didn't interpret my post as thinking anything else. (your cut and paste was only a portion of what *I* had cut and pasted in my post - hamming it up was referring to clinton) :(
