In Memory of The Fallen 9-11-2001WELCOME TO SODOM AND GOMORRAH, U.S.A. by Timothy Rollins, Editor and Publisher

March 2, 2004

Timothy Rollins - Beneath the SurfaceThe homosexual lobby can say what they like, but the fact remains these so-called 'gay marriages' are neither legitimate nor lawful, despite what San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom or New Paltz, New York Mayor Jason West may think. Newsom cites the equal protection under the laws clause of the California State Constitution as his justification for violating Proposition 22, the ballot initiative overwhelmingly passed by California voters in 2002 that specifically prohibits marriage between two persons of the same gender.

I recently spoke with an attorney colleague in Illinois - a liberal Democrat - and we were discussing the finer points on the matter. He agreed this increasing problem is something that needs to be addressed - and quickly. The idea of a constitutional amendment, however nice it looks on paper, will have a very hard time getting through Congress, much less 38 state legislatures. When was the last time something went through Congress without all kinds of riders and assorted add-ons? Yes, amendments in the past have been simple, but today, I'd have to say all bets are off - especially on a hot-button issue such as this one.

My beef here is not with homosexuals and lesbians themselves, as much as it is with the activists. How they live their lives behind closed doors is a private matter between themselves and God. Like the rest of us, they too will one day account to their Maker for their actions. What nauseates me is when People Magazine gushes praise on Rosie O'Donnell with "Brave Rosie" when she admitted being gay. I never pictured O'Donnell as being in the closet, not to mention that Rosie's being gay was the worst kept secret in New York, let alone the entire country. People long suspected Ellen DeGeneres of being gay before she admitted it; with O'Donnell, believe me, there was never any doubt. O'Donnell then goes off to San Francisco with longtime girlfriend Kelli Carpenter and gets 'married' in a high-profile act of civil disobedience. Perhaps the best article I've read on this issue was by Governor Mitt Romney (R-MA), who wrote in The Wall Street Journal of the vital need to protect the institution of marriage, as it predates our constitution and nation by millennia as being a building block for society - something homosexual and lesbian relationships cannot do, as such by their very nature would extinct our society within a generation.

With marriage rates on the continuing decline in America, more and more heterosexual couples live together without the benefit of marriage, as in 'shacking up'. These efforts by the homosexual community to be 'married' are nothing more than a sham effort on their part to both show the rest of the world and convince themselves that they are 'normal', when they never were, and never will be as long as they continue to practice their deviant behavior. As has been said before, homosexuality is not an alternative lifestyle; it is a deathstyle, based on their higher rates of mental illness, domestic violence, AIDS infection, STDs* and higher suicide rates. The odd thing in all this is that most homosexuals and lesbians reject marriage in that it is a heterosexual institution and they want nothing to do with the heterosexual lifestyle. To them, they have made their bed, and have chosen to lie in it. They want it both ways; they want to engage in high-risk behavior that has been proven to lead to infection with a disease with a 100% fatality rate; yet they want the 'straight' population to subsidize their deviant lifestyle (or should I say deathstyle?) through paying their hospital bills when they come down with the 100% preventable AIDS plague usually contracted through homosexual relations or intravenous drug usage. Who are the hypocrites now?

Were these gay 'marriages' taking place anywhere but California, the mayor would be in custody. However, Governor Schwarzenegger lacks the stones to have Newsom arrested for breaching the public trust and failure to uphold the law. This is something California voters will take note of - that, and the fact Schwarzenegger passed the buck to State Attorney General Bill Lockyer, a Democrat - who seeks to work through California's activist courts. With the California Supreme Court based in San Francisco, it's easy to suspect that the deck is already stacked going into this one and that the outcome has already been pre-determined - especially from a Governor whose support for gay rights was so pronounced during last year's campaign.

Say what you want, but I don't see gays as being entitled to any special or preferential rights under the law. If Clinton's "Don't ask, Don't tell" attitude was good enough to be used 10 years ago, it should be used now. Unlike Blacks, Latinos, or Asians, gays are not a visible minority. In fact, gays come in all shapes, sizes and colors. To give them protected status is a travesty and is only further testimony of the power of militant groups like QUEER NATION, ACT UP, Human Rights Campaign and others of their ilk, while most Americans are too damned fat and lazy to get off their butts and do anything about it.

It's like spitting into the wind it seems. We are at war with the forces of evil folks, yet America is going to hell in a hand basket and most people just simply don't care. Canada is already a write-off; our borders both north and south are a joke, California was already lost - and that was before this gay marriage debacle - yet the enemy continues to advance on the beachhead. Unless we draw a line in the sand and do so now, there won't be much of an America left - if any at all - to defend. ***

At the Constitutional Convention On Aug.22,1787 George Mason declared "As nations cannot be rewarded or punished in the next world ,so they must be in this.By inevitible chain of causes and effects,Providence[God in Witherspoons America] punishes national sins with national calamaties."
He spoke of the national sin of accepting the African slave trade] In Jan,1788 Luther Martin ,in his own words, affirmed what George Mason had said earlier ,and suggested it "ought to be considered." Now I think there is no greater
national sin than for a nation to turn from God,and reject
its' foundational principles[or their source]I think we have
done exactly that in regaurds to accepting what the Bible
and our founding Fathers believed to be against nature.

do agree--most homosexuals are at some point normal. Their
lifestyle choice is an aberration against nature. Thus should
they suceed in forcing the godless State to recognize and
sanctify their aberrant lifestyle it will mean the
destruction of our society. In Murphy v.Ramsey ,1858 the
Supreme Court defined the "basis of the family" as "One man
and one woman" in a union for life.Sodomy was yet a criminal
offence in every State. And American Law yet honored the
Rule of Law withaccurate reflection of the language used ,
and intent of the men ratified our Constitution-all has been neglected-and no longer taught in this nation adrift.

It is a spiritual rebellion, there is alot of that going around. It's really amazing how self important their humanism has made them, all of them in rebellion against God.

Last night I tiptoed into the den to turn off the tv and Bill Mahler was on, I thought he had lost his show, yet there the simple minded fellow was, talking about the passion with three equally simple minded companions.

Mahler huffed at the idea that anyone could wash away his sins but himself, the crowd roared appreciatively, the old fellow to his right intoned, "that's given you believe you have comitted a sin", the crowd applauded wildly.

Someone should help set them straight. This planet belongs to, was created by, God who fully intends to live here and ocuppy it Himself. And while He, in His grace and mercy provided for us a way to survive that fact, the next time Christ comes it is with an eviction notice.

Man does not decide for himself if he has sinned, it is God that is offended and God who will decide what offends Him and what is sin and if a person is guilty of that sin.

Looking at what God has ordained as sin, they all seem to have things in common, a sin is almost always something that causes consequences, even a hole ball of consequences to roll down on innocent loved ones or individuals, or robs God of what belongs to Him.

I doubt these folks understand exactly what they are up against. This planet belongs to God, His is it's rightful owner, He intends to live here, in or above Jerusalem, and sin cannot survive in His presence, it will burn up. God in His mercy has given man two choices, cover yourself with the blood of Christ and survive His coming as one of his own children, or, be caught wrapped in a coat of sin and perish.

These folks really need to get a clue about that.

This is one of the best articles I've read on the subject in quite some time.

I heard a humble priest put this gay lifestyle in proper perspective. He said we all have some type of cross to carry with regards to our sexuality. Simply put, as a hetero most of us have a natural inclination or desire to mate with whomever we find attractive. Those of us who do not submit our wills to this natural inclination and temptation are living the way of the cross with respect to our sexuality. The same can be said for homosexuality and host of other sexual deviations deemed evil. To give in to this base desire is to give up one's cross.

"Their whole existence is now working to normalize their self-gratification, and it is insulting to logic and reason. "

Author Tammy Bruce refers to this as "malignant narcisissism".
In so much as rather than accept their behaviour as deviant, they will work to convince society to accept, or validate their condition. Makes sense.

...the old fellow to his right intoned, "that's given you believe you have comitted a sin", the crowd applauded wildly.

I agree with what you have said but you have to realize that most people (myself included before I was saved) don't think they have "sinned" or are really "that bad."

I think there are two reasons for this.
The first is because most people equate being bad with the biggies like murder, theft, etc.
The second, and most prevalent, is that people equate good and bad with a checking account or a balance scale where you stack up the bad on one side and the good on the other.

It goes like this,"Ok, so I've lied and maybe shoplifted or cheated on my taxes but I've also done some good things too, doesn't that count for anything?

I have used something like this as an example:

If the Highway Patrol stops you while you are going 100mph and gives you a ticket do you say to the trooper, "Aww, c'mon officer how about all those days when I was a really curteous driver and went under the speed limit? Doesn't that count for anything?

The answer of course is no.

Any crime, major or minor can be used to illustrate this point. If you break the law even if it's just once, you are guilty of that offense no matter how "good" you were up to that and after that point.

How many of us have not violated the 10 Commandments? What makes us think that when we die we can use the same lame excuse on God as we tried on the Highway Patrol?

We are all guilty. People are seperated from God eternally not because they rejected Christ, per se, but because they are already guilty.

It always surprizes me just how effective gay organizations, such as the HRC, are at disguising their true intentions. Most people really do think that the whole point of "the homosexual community's" efforts to be "married" is to convince the rest of the world that homosexuals (and their behavior) are "normal".

Baloney.

Most homosexuals I know (and, yes, I do not several) have no real desired to be "married" in the sense that most people (and especially religious people) understand marriage. Most homosexuals I know have absolutely no desire to "cleve" to one other person for the rest of their lives. Nor do they really want to be "faithful" to any one person.

What they do want are the many benefits -- such as entitlement to a spouse's social security benefits, or other pension benefits, or coverage under a spouse's health insurance program, that currently come ONLY to people who are married. I know of several homosexual people who tell me that their "partner" is a non-US citizen living in another country. If the two of them were "married", the UIS citizen could then sponse his "spouse" into the United States.

All about benefits.

Seems like they are confusing normal development with homosexuality. Confusing defensive affiliation of calling the not understood opposite sex icky. At some point children understand they figured out themselves enough to move on to finding a "friend" of the opposite sex.

The point is, it is a matter of development. For some reason homosexuals have their normal developement arrested at the "icky" opposite sex stage, and are stuck on nacisism.

It's not unusual (and probably never has been) for an adolescent to form a very close friendship with or even to have a "crush" on a member of the same sex. The difference is that until recently adolescents almost always grew out of this -- now they are often encouraged to consider themselves permanently gay.

I believe treatment is known already. But I do believe that
money from that fund ought be diverted to educate our
elected Officials-they seem willfully ignorant -or blind to
the widening chasm between the government and the governed
between the Moral and Religious people and the govt.walled off from the founding moral principles.Dr.Robert Spitzer;
Dr.Joseph Nicolosi;Dr.Paul Cameron and a host of other qualified individuals have published much.PErhaps the best book I've read recently was"Homosexuality and American Public Life"Christopher Wolfe editor. But I fear my people
are destoryed for lack of understanding.

I am opposed to the amendment because then the queer lobby will say "Well, since you haven't prohibited it yet, it must be allowed".

The big stickler seems to be the Full faith and credit clause. But the original intent was never to allow gays to marry. Or have some activist judge in Podunk, USA. set some sort of policy that affected us nationally.
