Just heard on WCBS newsradio NY that CNN reports Carlie Brucia found dead in Sarasota.

I dont know Saddams shredder feet first comes to mind. : )) Anyway I just found out last night that Carlie was born in my area and her father and grandparents live here as well. I feel so bad for all of them. It sickens me. The courts and DA's have time to go after Rush and spend untold money on such but they had a chance to put this pondscum back in jail in December and didnt do so. Carlie or any child was a sitting duck. She just happened to be the one who crossed his path.

I was so hoping this one would turn out differently.

I know it's not worse this time than for any other child abduction and killing. But somehow this one seems worse because of that abduction video that sends chills down my spine:(

I heard that the FL authorities did not issue an AMBER Alert UNTIL 24 hours after her abduction. Can anyone confirm this? I thought Amber alerts were to be immediate.

Maybe if the Amber Alert had been issued earlier, this tragic endidng might have been avoided.

actually, i know several. congressman billybob is one. i know a couple who probably would not want me to mention their names. the distinguishing factor is their motivation in becoming lawyers. the good ones do it out of love and respect for the law. they are few. which is why it ought to become much harder to become a lawyer, and there ought to be random retesting and the ethics board ought to be made up of civilians and entirely outside the state bar association. it would send many lawyer larvae to the penny-stock boilerrooms for which they are especially talented. after which they could still get the group rate in going to hell.

They didn't issue the Amber Alert until they knew that she was kidnapped.

The Amber Alert has a certain criteria so that they aren't issued for every kid who is late home or a runaway. The owner of the Car Wash didn't locate the abduction of Carlie until 24 hours later and then an alert was issued.

There must be evidence of an abduction for an Amber Alert to be issued. Until the tape was viewed she was nothing more than a runaway.
