I just left a message at AOL corporate HQ that I want a call back tomorrow morning.....if millions sold their stocks over this....AOL would take notice.

Plus numbers for every advertiser we see today. We spent the afternoon at my daughter's home. We were hoping to watch the game with my eight year old granddaughter, but after a few of the commercials, we were appalled! What has happened to decency? The only good one was the Bud commercial with the donkey. I am furious.

"Hate to tell you, he lip-synched."
I disagree. I'm familiar with his music and that sounded live.

Just an FYI if it wasn't mentioned earlier: MTV produced the show. They are the "sister" channel to CBS (Both are owned by Viacom). So correspondence could be made directly to Viacom and cover both networks.
Also, I understand that CBS was considering using Victorias Secrets models for part of the halftime show. (They air the special). This is just the kind of network they are - Crude.

I also saw the flag thing. My take on it is this.., at least his intentions were honorable if not his actions. I'm sure he only meant the best. I also noticed that when he took it off, a band member helped him and handed it back being careful not to let it touch the floor. No pass, no cigar, do not pass go, do not collect $200.
Everyone knows you don't cut a hole in the flag to wear it as clothing, and after his bandmember took it, he threw it on the floor next to the drummer.

I just bet the Whitehouse is getting some phone calls too.
It's funny you said that. My nine year old said, "I bet the president will fire these people when he finds out how inappropriate they are being." I had to tell him the president wasn't responsible for firing these people. LOL!

Thanks for confirming what I suspected all along ...Steven Tyler does coke.

Hollywood whores gettin' desperate. Thanks CBS for helping them parade their stuff in front of our children and grandchildren.
Do liberals ever tired of pushing filth down our throats?
After that Halftime show I have just turned off the game. As a father I am disgusted with the display of gratuitous nudity, sex and the glorification of gangbanging, drug abuse, and prostitution.

Here's what I don't understand...and it's on SO many different levels...
1) You'd think Janet Jackson would tone down anything controversial, you'd think her family is going through enough.
2) If you have talent, why do you have to do this?
3) The NFL would have had to approve it and why would they want everyone to be talking about JJ's boob instead of the game?
But you know the worst thing? It's been done now. Next time there won't be an uproar. Sure, for the next few days everyone will be talking about it, how wrong it was, but nobody will be punished. They'll all be rewarded and next year it will be worse. It's our fault. It is.

Disappointed my derriere! They knew what they were getting. Heck, I knew better than to even turn it on! Ignorance won't wash.

Right, and my problem isn't at all with Kid Rock, like I said, he was trying to HONOR our Troops, and he is a HUGE supporter of them. Which is unlike MOST in hollywierd. So I say give him a break.

Good for you. Be sure to tell them WHY you're cancelling. It's the ONLY thing they understand.

How about CBS? They approved it in advance. Why not also, "It's unlikely that CBS will air another Super Bowl."

I'm guessing that Kid Rock's fans who saw him wearing an American flag will take a positive message from it- unlike some ninety-five year old hyper-traditionalist grouches who care more about rules than beliefs.I'm against a flag burning amendment, too. What if the Dixie Chicks tried that? Do you have to support President Bush before flag desecration doesn't matter?
I'm Democrat, and I do share in the outrage at the SB halftime that is shown here by most of the posters. I know from working with kids that the stupidy of mass media does affect kids, much more than some people realize. I'm glad to see people speaking out. It's one issue at least that we can agree on.

Thank you!! I just sent CBS an email. I can't believe the trash (naked breast...disrespect for the flag) they foisted on our family trying to watch a simple football game.
