I meant they listen because they think Rush is trendy, but they don't really understand what he is talking about. I didn't mean anything against Rush himself.

That's entirely possible about the fad listening. But those I've seen so far seem to dislike Rush because he doesn't quite toe the party line, e.g. he doesn't automatically jump on the "The Medicare bill is good" bandwagon.
