In the High School where I taught, the only gay teacher stayed in the closet. It was years later when the adult boys came out against him that we learned what went on late at night in the performing arts center with the head of the drama department.
If he were openly gay, the school would likely have put a watchdog on him during these after school hours. As a male teacher, I was taught to never be alone with a female student without the door being locked open. BTW, the city now has a policy that extends to all groups who work with the young. Attendance at child molestation classes is mandatory, and they learn what to look out for and how to conduct themselves. Never any adult child situations without a second adult or child present too.
That's a good policy. We have a similar policy when working with kids at church, which accomplishes at least two tasks. One, it helps to prevent any inappropriate action and two, it helps to prevent false accusations. This may sound strange to some folks, but I won't be in a house alone with another woman that's not my wife or not related to me, for some of the same two reasons above.
I think that's a good policy, for the protection of both parties.
Decisions are fine, so long as there is an awareness of certain consequences.
I made a conscious decison not to allow my children to be taught or watched over by militant gays.
I was probably taught by at least one gay while getting my education. The real number is probably substantially more than that.
His/her sexual orientation was of absolutely no consequence to their level of competence and effectiveness.
This pervert still doesn't get it. So long as I have a choice, and I expect I will continue to have choices for the remainder of my life, I will not accept a blatantly confrontational heterosexual to teach my children or grandchildren.
This clown still doesn't get it.
Well, that's not what you're being hired to do.
So I suggest a change of career. I understand hairdressing and interior decoration considers gayness a positive qualification.
The education of children does not.
It's not rocket science.

No, he was laying a foundation:

My kids are NEVER setting foot in a public school.
Actually, it goes beyond association. The homosexual community's well planned and funded campaign involves the inflitration of these institutions. They have now infested most denominations of the Church, in order to undermine and destroy it's moral authority:

The homosexual community scored it's biggest victory when they infiltrated the APA and, by using political force, got homosexuality removed from the DSM:

Reading the account by the eminent Irving Bieber, the reader is reminded of the historic role played by both Dr. Bieber, and NARTH President Charles Socarides. Both influential and courageous men stood, we believe, for truth in a profession that has increasingly set itself adrift from its theoretical and philosophical roots.
Dr. Bieber describes the deletion of homosexuality from the American Psychiatric Association's diagnostic and statistical manual as "the climax of a sociopolitical struggle involving what were deemed to be the rights of homosexuals."
"It is my aim here," he wrote, "to separate out the psychiatric and conceptual issues from the sociopolitical issues; to document my own theoretical and clinical position; and to describe the events that I participated in and observed--all of which I trust will bring into focus the elements that went into the American Psychiatric Association's decision..."
A task force was set up to study homosexuality, but the members chosen included not a single psychiatrist who held the view that homosexuality was not a normal adaptation. There followed riots at scientific meetings by gay activists who increased the pressure on the Psychiatric Association..."
And now, the infestation in the public schools has been growing at an alarming rate.

Nature. Exactly the same thing that causes cute noses and big ugly ones.

Of course anything is "possible". Even that I might start walking on all fours and barking like a dog. These aberrations are called pathologies.

Any thing is possible. What is almost certainly the case, however, is that it is the way that nature intended mammals to behave in order to propagate the species.

Anything is possible. However, no normal human being lives their life by permutations and combinations of sexual "feelings". That's known as having a life.
Prior to puberty most of us sleep with members of the same sex. The sane ones, however, never "sleep" with members of the same sex, before or after puberty.

To no one, other than eventually to members of the opposite sex whom we found attractive. That particular rite of passage is usually non-verbal among normal people.
Most reacted normally. Either with approval or rejection, the way nature intended.

They don't.
The beauty of not being a deviant pervert is that nature arranges sexual development in both necessary sexes to proceed in mysterious ways, not subject to any necessary indoctrination.

That is precisely what most normal people do.
Only freaks of nature have a need to flaunt anything.

I suppose 98% might be called "disproportionaty" normal.
Exposing my children to the world, even a totally normal one, involves dangers, many of which are unexpected. It is called preparing them for adulthood.
Deviancy and perversion is not one of the unavoidable dangers.

Because deviancy, perversion and abandonment of mature responsibilities is an attractive nuisance, normally, and a death spiral if "protected".

They don't. Normal sex is a natural as breathing. Nature is her wisdom, again.
How could the world survive in an all-pervert society? might be a more rational question.
