Thank you all for the welcome home, I was two hours from getting on the plane when i received a call about our aircraft being shot down, please pray for the families
of all the brave americans who lost their lives. I am glad to be home and also anxious in a way to get back and finish what we are doing there, it is a good cause and we must prevail. We will continue to send soldiers home, our unit alone will send 35 home this month and almost 40 in dec.
Pay no attention to the media, they have been no where around when good things happen. They cower in hotels until an american gets killed and then scurry out into the light like cockroaches. Screw Them!!!

WELCOME HOME

Prayers for the families of those we've lost are continuous. As President Bush said today:

"We mourn every loss, We honor every name. We grieve with every family. And we will always be grateful that liberty has found such brave defenders."

We've ignored the media for a long time......While home see if you can get hold of a copy of the "support our troops" presentation that was shown on the FR cruise. It really is overwhelming the support you have across the nation......of course the media ignores that too.

Bless you both! Now get some rest! (It's been a long 48 hrs) and it's already my birthday.

Mike, you're the greatest! I can't believe that you already sent me a private email about my nephew. You have no idea how much that will mean to all of the family. You are a heck of a leader and we appreciate all that you do. Welcome Home! .....and God Bless you real good!

Kristinn, Angelwood, BillF, Jimmy Valentine's brother, staytrue, rabidralph... and everyone in the DC Chapter:

Mystery-ak's husband, 1SG Mike Milam, Co F 106th Avn, is back home for two weeks.

He's one of the reasons why we have - and have to - continue doing what we are doing here with our rallies and counter-protests, fighting the spin from the left and from the media, on the homefront.

There are 150,000 more just like him. God Bless them all. They are doing the right thing, and so are we. (I love you guys 'n gals)

Mike and mystery-ak: Thank you both, for your service. Now get some R & R!

WELCOME HOME MIKE AND THANK YOU. Not only for serving, but for the update on "over there." We have been saying the same about the media ourselves.

Try to keep your mind at home with your family while you are on leave. You can think about all the things that need to be done when you get back.

When you go back can you please let the "gang" know that many, many of us think and pray everyday for our military. And, how much we appreciate what they are doing, even if the Iraqis don't.

Welcome home Mike.

The Troops are well respected here, and I think of little else these days than their welfare, including yours.

Thank you for your service.

Thanks, Mike for letting us hear from you and letting us know how things REALLY are! God Bless you as you do the hard work of talking to the families whose sons paid the ultimate price so that the Iraqis may have some chance at freedom and control over their country. And God Bless you and keep you safe on your return to Iraq.
