Conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh believes the political landscape in America makes it possible that the nation is âtrending toward secession.â
âI actually think that weâre trending toward secession,â Limbaugh surmised. âI see more and more people asking what in the world do we have in common with the people who live in, say, New York?â
âWhat is there that makes us believe that there is enough of us there to even have a chance at winning New York, especially if youâre talking about votes?â

I’m convinced that a return to federalism is the only way to avoid a civil war. A return to federalism would be a much easier path than a return to a civil war and it’s consequences.
There are lots of people living in other countries who receive social security, military retired pay and have some benefits from medicare. I would gladly give up medicare if needed to live in a new country. I could pay for my own medical care. The only issue would be in what currency would the existing United States have to continue to pay the two retirements I have earned.
Most of the wealthy elite pride themselves on having foot soldiers who can do it all for them. Not only that, but what will they do when the internet, power, or water is cut? The infrastructure in the United States is easy pickings.

If the mega quake does happen, NYC is in deep trash

Now Abraham Lincoln makes sense. We are living the exact same times.
But his reaction was:
“A house divided cannot stand................it will be all one or all the other.”
Abe was right. There is going to be a fight. Secession is not going to solve anything.

I agree with you. The problem is how to get the other side to agree to it. Also there’s still the problem of the divide between urban and non-urban. Something needs to be done to allow the different groups within states to have more freedom to choose their own way of living without imposing it on others.

Sharpen your list.
Again, do some research into what happened to the USSR pensions and retirement plans........................
The fraudulent people will just move in and take over once their party wins.
That legislature might well be a majority Democrat if most of the over 65 folks are gone.
Right, well, lets have the civil war over with and may the winner take all!
I like the chances of the side with over 400,000,000 guns and trillions of rounds of ammo.
“To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.”
He said no such fncking thing.
Me on the other hand.....
Rush said we should beat them, and I am ok with that. A baseball bat will be fine with me.
You wouldn’t have to continue contributing to Medicare in that case, right.?
But can we kick the "blue" states out? What's the opposite of secession?
Our side follows the Constitution and their side wants to destroy it.You cannot live by people that feel that way. They’re the people riding the same small boat as you and poking holes in the bottom.
Whatever the free states form will be the home for all businesses who want to have something left over after taxes. I don’t know if it will be succession or CWII. I would prefer succession but if need be to rid ourselves of the sick people who are destroying the country then I will do my part to support the war effort.
