The always-on Trump campaign tested its new slogan Thursday night at another one of its loopy rallies. The mostly filled Ford Center in Evansville, Ind., seemed pleased.
President Trump asked: “You ever hear this before: ‘Make America Great Again’?”
They had.
“You know our new slogan that we will be switching to because we are ahead of schedule to make America great again? It’s called ‘Keep America Great!’” The fair-skinned figures in candy-colored T-shirts and dark sports coats — the gung-ho crowd unfailingly known as Trump’s “base” — cheered again.
Oh, the inanity. “Ahead of schedule?” Sure, bud. No wall built. No Clinton jailed. Your inner circle en route to the supermax.
Reporters in the room seemed to roll their eyes and shake their heads. Who would cheer for this?
Paula Reid said on CBS, “People here believe the president has kept many of the promises he made on the campaign trail.” She spoke in a will-wonders-never-cease tone.
Such is the straitened stagecraft of the event. The base says something loony tunes — like that Trump has “kept his promises” — and the media, without correcting anything, reports on the misperception with a note of defeated irony....

It used to be looked up to back when I delivered the Pomona Progress Bulletin in my youth.
His rallies were dismissed by the experts during the campaign. They said Bernie had big ralllies in comparison to H and he lost. Donald Trump didn’t follow that script though.
I admit I refused to read this snarky article, but is that what it claims? That people are being paid to attend. Nonsense.

All they see is race. If they see a black person, they only see the “black” element, and they react to it. They can’t see the “person” part. It is of no consequence as it is not useful in pushing their destructive political agenda.
To people who think in they own the civil rights movement (the one we had to push through despite huge democrat opposition) and by extension, Dr Martin Luther King, have taken the entire movement and are pushing it ino reverse.
Dr King wanted a color blind society, which is quite logical. In a generation or two, the overwhelming majority of racism would have fallen by the wayside.

Today's morons let the media, failed education systems, and lazy politicians, keep the masses in perpetual crisis, thus having the desire for elimination of it, without the smarts to know the consequences.

I didn’t want to click, but I had to. Sooooo much venom from the Left... and this is one of their major papers. They are near-apoplectic. The end-game is just about here, because they simply cannot get any more unhinged.
I don’t know why the LA Times thinks crap like this sells more newspapers or generates more clicks. Bashing the president and all of his supporters just isn’t journalism.

One of Trump’s main objectives is to prevent a shooting war.
And part of that plan is to take thousands of arrows of abuse and false accusations and to show that it has no effect on him.
The Media and Dem Leaders are fabricating outrage to stir up their base. But the 36% approval of Trump by Blacks shows much of the base is no longer buying the propaganda.
As long as Trump continues to deliver RESULTS for the American people, a new dawn in America is assured and the 10% of folks in the middle will either vote for Trump or stay home.

Sorry that happened, but I have to believe if both of your feelings were that strong in opposition there had to have been pretty major disagreements on a lot of issues. Trump may have been the final straw.
