Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., is concerned that more violence is on the way, following last weekend's deadly clash between white supremacy and neo-Nazi groups, and left-wing counter-protesters in Charlottesville, Va.
"It feels like violence is coming," Sasse wrote at the end of a long Facebook post Friday evening, titled "The next Charlottesville." "I'm not sure if this moment is like the summer of '67 or not. But it might be. Before that violence strikes again, it's up to us to reaffirm that exceptional American Creed again today, with our neighbors, and in our kids' hearts."
Earlier in the online note, Sasse listed out a number of "observations" from his family discussions this week. Within that 16-point list the lawmaker said he expects the violence will "come when white supremacists and the alt-right fight anarchist groups aligned with the extreme left."
President Trump, he said, will offer little in the way of a solution.
"What will happen next? I doubt that Donald Trump will be able to calm and comfort the nation in that moment," Sasse said. "He (and lots of others) will probably tell an awful combination of partial truths and outright falsehoods. On top of the trust deficits that are already baked so deeply in, unity will be very hard to come by."
Sasse has been a vocal critic of Trump since he took office.
Trump has faced bipartisan criticism for his remarks regarding the violence in Charlottesville, as he initially failed to rebuke white supremacist groups and neo-Nazis. On Monday he did condemn these groups by name, going further than his first statement Saturday, but on Tuesday he doubled back to say there is "blame on both sides."(continued)

What a stupid fool. What happened in Charlottesville was PLANNED BY THE MARXIST LEFT and aided by their psychopathic allies from the ANARCHIST RED AND BLACK BLOCS.
This has been going on since at least 2000 with the extreme communist/anarchist violence at the World Trade Organization conference in Seattle. Plans for the riots were made by Marxists including Waldo Bello of the Philippines and his friends. He said so in an article many years ago.
I went through the riots of the 1960’s, first as an undercover operative and then as a street reporter. Sasse wouldn’t know a “riot” if it hit him in the ass.
These are not “riots”. They are long-planned, long-termed frontal assaults on American society, its symbols, leaders, the media (what’s left of it), our educational system (where they have literally won), and religious institutions, and even sports.
Until Sasse gets off his ass and learns about what is really going on, he will be a fool and a loser despite his title of Senator.
“The left seems so determined not to let Trump roll back any of 0bama’s communism that they will resort to anything. The right needs to do the same thing. It is looking like a civil war, but it is worth it to defend freedom.”
Martial law, first. Hopefully, Trump calls out the national guard with a shoot to kill order on antifa. That should spice things up a bit. Round up all these shadow coup members behind antifa...hillary, soros, jarret, O’bunghole, etc.

IF violence is coming it’s only because the DemonCratic party has been overrun by radical and violent groups and they have not accepted the rule of law following the election of an American who really cares.

More than enough votes in the senate against Trump if the House would impeach him.

I was actually in San Francisco that spring and summer. I was a troop stationed a few miles down the road and went up to SF on weekends. It was quite a show.
I went to Greenwich Village that summer as a young girl and remember all the love beads and hippie graffiti at St. Mark’s Place. What a time!
The guy to the left looks like he has a molotov cocktail prepared...or maybe urine. And some kind of union logo on his shirt.
SF was pretty exhilirating on first take but very quickly I thought, “what are yall gonna do for a living?” The answer to that didn’t become apparent for another dozen years when the whole character of the Universities began to change radically. They didn’t do anything productive for a living. They stayed in school.
What’s coming is going to make 1967 look like a sock hop.
