COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Its not easy being a Donald Trump supporter in Colorado.
Becky Mizel, a prominent Trump volunteer and former county party chairwoman in the state, was standing at the entrance to the Colorado GOP Convention, waving a slate of delegates the Trump campaign has endorsed to send to the national convention.
With her arm still in the air, she needled a volunteer tasked with setting up Trump signs outside of the arena where the convention is being held, and was upset because they went missing.
Somebody stole them, Mizel said under her breath, sounding irritated but unsurprised. The state party convention, she readily admitted, is not really Trumps crowd and thats part of the reason she doesnt expect much to come from the slate Saturday.
We know were not going to take anything out of (the slate), but it was mostly an emotional shot in the arm for the Trump people who are here because they were feeling demoralized because nothing is here, she told NBC News.
Just having a table and signs made them go, Oh, were not alone, theres other Trump people. Its more of a psychological edge, she said.
Mizel admitted that she would be happy if they take one or two delegates. So far, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has swept all 21 of the states delegates already elected at the congressional district level....

Trump campaign spin, then.
Whatever, your man will never become President, regardless of how he may win the Republican nomination. I will not vote for a usurper, period. You go ahead and support the Canadian who will turn the U. S. into another European Union with the North American Community.
I am sorry to hear the you wouldn’t vote for the first Constitutional Conservative we have had in a long time if Cruz wins the nomination. We may well get Hillary no matter who is the Republican candidate.
That is the Constitutional Conservative you are supporting. Be very proud of your choice, and should by some chance he actually wins the Republican nomination, which is highly doubtful, and then wins the Presidency, which is even more unlikely, celebrate the loss of American sovereignty to the North American Community.
He is eligible to run for POTUS.
I don't buy the disinformation put out about Cruz. We just disagree.
What about the disinformation about why Cruz supported "Corker?"
I'll bet you bought that.
Funny, I could swear that preposterous excuse came right from Cruz, not Trump.
Yeah, that is why he has sealed his records, because he has nothing to hide.
My point is that I do not fall for the disinformation coming from Trump/Trump camp regarding the birther issue and so on.
Cruz did not the seal his records, they are sealed by the government.
SNL’s Weekend Update ‘report’ on Lyin’Teds NY debacle was really good.

“Even Times Square Elmo didn’t want to take a picture with you!”
Excuse me, that is not the case at all. The government cannot release them unless Cruz allows it. He has refused to allow them to do so. He has sealed them from being viewed.
I think it is a matter of semantics. It is not the same as sealing records if one refuses to release them- it is not releasing them- but whatever. If Cruz was not eligible to run he would have been stopped before his did so.
OMG, do you think sealed records means they are sealed with glue or something?
No. We are not going to agree nor are we going to change the other’s mind about who we support. Have a good day and I mean that because you have been civil while we disagree.
You have a good day too, but in the future drop Constitutional from your lexicon, because you obviously do not believe in the Constitution for if you did you could not support whom you have chosen to support. Instead you find it more convenient to ignore the Constitution, at least the part that requires the President to be a natural born citizen.
Trump is an emotional based candidate, and you won’t convince his supporters with logic.
More and more Trump is looking like the story of the baseball player mighty Casey who got struck out because he was arrogant enough to give up two strikes before trying.
Trump was so confident he would get his 1237 delegates that he didn’t even consider trying to prepare for the second ballot and beyond... and has the gall to criticize those who did. That is a democrat mentality.
If Trump thinks the delegate process is tough and difficult... he isn’t ready to try to guide a federal government full of workers hostile to his policy.
Agree. Neither side is likely to change the mind of the other.
I'm amazed you think of it as a game.
