Former Florida governor Jeb Bush plans to meet with three of the four remaining Republican presidential candidates today and tomorrow in Miami, according to an aide.
Bush, who until recently was also a presidential contender, plans to meet with Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a spokeswoman said. There are no plans for Bush to meet with businessman Donald Trump no surprise given their acrimonious relationship.

Au contraire, FReeper. Enjoy!! This is a classic moment we could never dream of. The RINO establishment via their main water boy was mercilessly defeated in a GOP primary system, so humiliated that their chief standard bearer and heir apparant here, has to visit with hat in hand before one of the victors--so far--who out gunning him, in the case of Cruz, a 100% ACU voting record holding super conservative US Senator hated by the Bush Legacy and the senate elites. This is a great moment of victory we'd never imagine here on FR, we have directed the vanquished and humiliated the ruling class to pay us homage. Savor!

If Trump, as the nominee, sits with the RNC and accepts nfrastructure, personnel and donations for the general election from them, and takes on GOPe seasoned DC advisors, in your estimate, will Trump have remained pure, or will HE, TO, HAVE SOLD OUT?

Maybe we’re overlooking something about why it was Jeb to call this meeting.
Poppy Bush. My 2 cents.

Probably two go out and pledge their delegates to Cruz.
But why would Cruz agree to meet with Bush? Leaves a bad taste in my mouth, so I hope this story is false.

The establishment hates Cruz. Whatever. He obviously loves their money.

Can’t do that yet, Obama has months in office to go.
But being Obama and Democrats tried to screw with the elections in Israel, I think the President should pick the right time to assist the candidate Israel needs for office.
Why not pay back?

I hope they gang up on Trump....big time. It will propel Trump forward for the win.
America is growing to detest the GOPe. If Cruz goes there, he is done-D-done, done!

Trump would have leverage in that scenario. He's literally written the book on how to use it effectively.
Cruz, on the other hand, is behind in the delegate count, running out of money and headed into unfavorable states. He doesn't have leverage; the Establishment does. His only option is to sell his soul (and I'm giving him credit for not having been a Trojan horse to begin with). I hope he does the right thing.

I agree. Cruz need to be careful. Jeb and Romney are done in politics; they is little risk involved for them in attacking Trump.
The Establishment pushed Rubio out there to attack Trump and now his career in politics is in jeopardy.
Cruz is still a young man. He could have another shot at the national stage. But he absolutely needs Trump voters, especially in the south. He can't afford to alienate them.

“Honest question for Cruz supporters. Is there any question now that Ted is part of the establishment and that he isnt who he portrayed himself to be?”
Do you and other Trump supporters believe Trump can win the general election with the support you now have and won’t require or need the support and votes of Trumps primary opponents and their supporters? Yes, I believe Senator Cruz is an “outsider”, I believe the “insiders” at one time would have preferred Trump, “the deal maker”, but may have concluded as I have that Trump is possibly mentally unstable and has a severe personality disorder and that Trump can’t win in November. Do you deny that Trump will reach out to these same people who are reaching out to Senator Cruz?

By crawling into bed with the Bush family, Glenn Beck, the GOPe, etc, I think the alienation part is already cemented for many Trump backers...me included.

How can any Cruz supporter watch this and maintain a straight face claiming Cruz is an outsider that the GOPe wants to get rid of?
Yikes folks. It’s getting to the point massive gallons of denial must be consumed daily.

Wow , indeed. How many times will "conservatives" let themselves be conned by the establishment to support and vote for their prefered candidate?
I am sorry to say it looks like many Cruz supporters will only wise up when the knife is in their back.
