Of all the complaints about Sarah Palin and her bus tour, this ones easily the strangest. CBS reports that the media has begun to grumble that Palins decision to keep them out of the loop on the tours stops have created a dangerous working environment for reporters: Since Palin and her team wont share where the potential candidate is headed, reporters and producers have little choice but to simply stay close to Palins bus. This has resulted in scenes of the Palin bus tooling down the highway followed by a caravan of 10 or 15 vehicles including a massive CNN bus all trying to make sure they dont lose sight of the Palin bus.
It adds up to a dangerous situation, says CBS News Producer Ryan Corsaro.
I just hope to God that one of these young producers with a camera whose bosses are making them follow Sarah Palin as a potential Republican candidate dont get in a car crash, because this is dangerous, he said.
Corsaro asked a member of Palins team if he thought it was dangerous to have reporters forced to chase her from stop to stop. Youre the ones that are trailing us, he replied.
Heres your first option: stop chasing her. If it truly presents a danger to journalists to drive behind the bus and attempt to keep up, then dont bother doing it. Palin probably wont provide much breaking news on this bus tour anyway. The only reason the medias chasing her is because shes good for their ratings and page views.
But is it really that difficult to follow a caravan on the highway? Unless the Palin bus is driving at warp speed, the answer is pretty obviously no. The most dangerous aspect of following a bus of that size is to keep from getting so anxious that you pass it without checking the lane change first unless the journalists in question dont know how to drive on a highway at all, which wouldnt be Palins fault anyway.
This sounds like a whiny, pouting response to Palins decision not to cooperate with the media. That decision is certainly debatable, but not on the basis of public safety. And frankly, on the basis of sheer entertainment value, the decisions looking brilliant at the moment.
The PRESS ( = paleomedia ) sat in their buses and cars
texting each other and the White House.
Meanwhile, Gov. Palin (Madam President) met with the crowds.
The PRESS ( oh, how proud they are ) falsely reported she was
nowhere to be seen and fabricated that
she and Americans had created a "dangerous traffic situation
( their parlance for 'did not obey us').
The Press?
They hid in their vans awaiting orders from the DNC.
They faithfully (to the DNC) reported that they
were all now deathly "afraid" of Americans (see above smiling people)
who had at last realized that reporters were nothing more than traitors to America
and blatant liars and flacks for the state.
asked a member of Palins team if he thought it was dangerous to have reporters forced to chase her from stop to stop.
The lame-ø MSM donks are just warming up for spring, 2013... "Palin's fault."
And Ryan, I bet YOUR boss is ripping out his hair right about now.
.
Here's hoping that the Palin tour has arranged a bunch of identical decoy buses to merge with them in the next urban area, then all split off in different directions. The opportunities to mess with the DNCs Propaganda Arm ought to be endless for somebody who's resourceful and has a sense of humor.
A Palin Family (of doubles) could be seen at odd locations nearby, triggering a rash of false sightings for the MSM to chase after.
LOL! that’s a fact.
So a private citizen chooses to do what every other private citizen does — go where he/she wishes.
And the MSM thinks she has an obligation to check in with them?
Good for her! Mrs. Palin is several steps ahead on this one.
Nope, it's to have one of their ilk get in a fender bender because of the bus and then sue the crap out of Sarah. Same kind of nonsense they were trying in Alaska.
Personally, I think it's funnier than hell. Crybabies. Go cover some real news... those criminals in Washington, fer instance.
Good idea Norm, wish we could get word into her caravan to take pics...there are some of us who would make the vid free. lol
OMG! And think of the small rodents that will be run over by the media caravan.
And if the woman can’t be trusted to tell the media where she is going for the sake of the media’s safety well how can she......... blah, blah, blah.
I have got to hand it to Palin. She is absolutely destroying the media’s crafted myth she is a rube or dumb.
She is the pied piper and they are the rats.
Palin/West 2012
I’ll be glad to do the soundtrack (wannabee musician ;)
I’d love to see the msmlib heads explode. ..I’d even offer to help with cleanup ;)
So instead, Palin should put herself and her family at risk by publicizing her itenerary so every crazy kook leftist out there can stalk them.
Riiiiight.
She already has a double, she showed up at CPAC before Sarah did and fooled quite a lot of people! Too funny!

Maybe a few FReepers could use pay phones (maybe in police departments) to call in tips that the Palins will be in such and such place at a certain date and time. Just make up some place and call it in. Maybe two or three calling in the same “tip” to make it more believable, then sit at the spot you phoned in, video if the press arrives, and walk up and ask if Palin sent them.
Well yes, it was Princess Diane’s fault for:
1) Allowing her driver to speed at a very high rate of speed.
2) Not wearing a seat belt.
3) Allowing her driver to drive drunk.
The fact that photographers were following does not enter into the equation.
Kewl beans, we could air it on YouTube if nowhere else...
It is brilliant. I wonder if one of the chase cars is a union goon squad. I hope that the chase cars have been recorded, and verified.
Actually, I was thinking ‘Ride of the Valkryes’ on the Palin shot (an apocalypse for liberalism...now ;) and ‘tiptoe through the Tulips’ or the Keystone Cops music on the MSM shot.
ANYTHING to reinforce what a cluster those fools are.
Don’t like Palin, but I’ll be damned if I ain’t enjoying watching her screw with the media.
Please, oh please, Sarah protect us from OURSELVES.
