Trying to nail down that Klingon vote against the recall, no doubt.

ZFor people on the Atkins diet, or some variety of it, I have made the greatest discovery. The Atkins Diet allows diet soda made with Splenda only, not aspertame. The only large manufacturer who fills this bill is Diet Rite.
Diet Rite has now released two other drinks in out area. I don't know if it is nation-wide yet. The drinks are a Raspberry Soda and a Strawberry-Kiwi soda. Both are excellent and the Strawberry is not too sweet, very refreshing. The Raspberry tastes like red paspberries and is my personal favoroite, as I love that flavor. Both are good for me because I have been missing the taste of fruit and both drinks fill that void. In fact, I am drinking Raspberry soda right now.

I've also heard that he is considering hiring a Ferengi as his campagin manager!

Howlin posted this very late last night on the hurricane thread:
Well, as if this day wasn't bad enough before, I am now over at my stepdaughter's house, babysitting.
They think my son-in-law might have had a heart attack. :-(

She made just a couple of replies to responses after that and I haven't seen or heard anything from her since then. She did say that he is only 42.
Please keep her and her family in your prayers.

It's really a waste of time on both parts. The Klingons will back Ahnold, because he's tough, and the Ferengi, being the ultimate capitalists, will probably go for McClintock. I can just imagine the new flame wars erupting. 8^)

Hi LD. Heard from your Mom? Looking forward to tomorrow's game? :-)
No, I haven't heard from Mom. I am not really worried, as she said she was trying not to internet all trip. I don't know if I could do that, but kudos to her for the attempt.
As far as games...no, I am not looking forward to a game tomorrow, because this is Auburn's off-week. Since I don't have to march, I am traveling north to Gardendale, in the Birmingham area to watch a bunch of high school bands march. I am such a dork.

In this area we don't have many store that carry Diet Rite, but they carry Adirondack and Weight Watchers...all with Splenda. My favorite is diet Vanilla soda by WeightWatchers....Tastes like an vanilla milk shake if I close my eyes and pretend. :-)

Yup. Davis would be lucky if the Cardassians even glanced in his direction.

Yup. Davis would be lucky if the Cardassians even glanced in his direction. How very true.
But ol' greyout thinks that by brining in such heavyweights as john "I fought in the Dominion Wars" kerry, somebody will pay attention to him.

Well, the Bajorans will back him, since they like to play the victim. And they never stop whining.
To: ABG(anybody but Gore)
Yes, but even a Vulcan said that the history of the Bajorans is one of repetitive defeat and subjugation. So, I hope the Bajorans do back him.
BTW, how come everyone is using Star Trek races. What about Stargate, huh? We could accuse Davis of being a Nox of something.

I never knew that only diet sodas with Splenda are allowed on Atkins. I'm not a big soda drinker myself, but have a Diet Coke occasionally, especially when I'm driving.
I haven't had Diet Rite in ages. I'll have to try some again. It used to have a pretty big market it seems to me.
Do you remember Tab? It was like the original diet soda, but it's not around anymore as far as I know.
I have been using Splenda recently in my tea. Even the small Equal tablets are too much sweetener for me now, but with Splenda you can measure out a smaller amount.
