AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 951) [Davis Death Watch - 39 Days to Go!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | August 29, 2003 | All of Us

Posted on 08/29/2003 4:20:41 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Remember the Trade Center!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

North Korea, in the six-way talks to discuss the dismantling of its nuclear weapons program, announced it has a nuclear weapon and will test it. [Ed. Note: The United States should announce in return that it has a nuclear weapon and intends to "test" it.]

In the left's continuing attempt to disarm Israel, the International Atomic Energy Agency announced it will look into "Israeli Nuclear Capabilities and Threats".

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Found your reply. M-i-l has one of those grabber things ..... but it's too much trouble to stop and get it (though it was only a few feet away) ..... much better to just use her good leg and fall on the floor because the other leg isn't strong enough to support her ..... *sigh*

Hi Molly..(and others I am pinging from Ohio list- you too get to read my boring life stuff in additon to Dubya note) ...Check Molly’s ping w/ info. thanks for posting info. I am volunteering with the "effort" so I will be there also. The pres is speaking at 10 to the group, I believe.

Please try to make AM get together so we can "MEET & FREEP"
there is still time off in PM for family/other things.

Family friend Bill (also a volunteer) & I will be going together & I am hoping that others with the Heritage republican group can also attend ( see Ohio posting for info gang)

decided to take Oliver out before the rain (it has just started to drizzle here now).

Went to Bridal Veil falls in Bedford reservation..

Ever been there? We walked DOWN the waterfall & down stream for about an hour. Very rigorous & fun outing. I think my favorite hike since being in Ohio. NO PEOPLE, no trash etc.. wide open spaces.

I am not much into group hikes etc..and don’t particularly like busy trails.. so I was in hogs heaven .. and Oliver had fun too. I rarely can find people who want to do what I like.. but I am convinced my pooch will follow me to hell & wag his tail on the way.

My foot is a bit sore but I am weaning into more of this type of outing again - a broken foot for an acive person is the pits.

Are you going to Blossom Sat PM for the John williams's tribute?

I will bike into Cleveland for air show either Sun or Mon.. really busy weekend here

This bombing in Najaf today is very bad news. I wonder if this wasn't part of some Saddam plan to suck us in make the country so unstable we can't govern it.

Tomorrow's game should be exciting. I've seen Auburn people on the covers of all kinds of sports magazines, and the town's already starting to fill up. RVs are materializing on the sides of the road and parking is a nightmare! We're supposed to have the largest home crowd ever tomorrow.

I'm excited and so is everyone else. You can almost feel it in the air around campus (of course, that could just be me listening to the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack all day).

IF SayDamns boys were envolved in this bombing you can bet that some 'even the score' will happen, GOOD! Could solve us some of our problems there.

NEW axis of evil country, FRANCE! What;s with it with these guys anyhow.

Wonder why Fox relies on the New York Times to get their information to report? Isn't the New York POST and FOX owned by Murdock? Shouldn't they be quoting from their own paper?

No, it's not just you. There is a special electricity in the air there on game day. It's enervating.

MM, I've been reading some of those articles about Auburn. I hate it being picked champs before the season. It's the "kiss of death." I'd rather be underrated then astonish everyone.

Me too, Doggie...worried...

Dolly, have never been to those Falls...sounds like my kind of trail, too. Will mention it to husband.

No, not going to Blossom...our concert there a few weeks ago was the best...and only one we can make this summer.

Also not sure about Mon.

After a fun and lolly-gagging summer, I really have to get some work done around here with my husband, and Sat., Sun,Mon is it!!

You're right. I am really hoping Sports Illustrated doesn't do a cover feature on us. Then I'd know we were sunk.

Err, um,, it WAS a Sports Illustrated (I think) pre-season special mag on the SEC which did feature Auburn as #1 that I read. Someone sent it to Wes as if he's interested in the SEC. After all, EVERYONE knows the Huskers are in the ACC! (LOL!)

So long as we weren't on the cover, I think we might be okay. I hate Sports Illustrated. Right now, I think we're ranked #6.

I will be busy mostly all day tomorrow, this is correct, however, I will likely be free during the lunch hours and there are comps in Terrell. I'll try and lurk a little, at least. I will get on, after, though, and tell everyone what I thought.

This is funny....someone at work was just talking about how they went to BR for the first time and couldn't believe how nice it was. I basically grew up there (to the extent that I grew up at all.....LOL), but usually closer to the road than Bridal Veil since it's kind of tough to take a show-off car down there. >:)

It is nice you have such high hopes for a LOSER of a team.

Another Iggles fan still smarting from that loss to the Titans last year, I see.

Just now I was hearing more talk about Auburn and especially about their great linebacking corps. I understand what you mean about being picked preseason to win it all. It seldom works out as they predict. But isn't it nice to have a team that will command respect by every opponent?

I hate Sports Illustrated too. Anyone from Nebraska hates Sports Illustrated, I think.

But ESPN is even worse. We Nebraska fans have a special hatred for ESPN. Of course, any sports fan outside of New York has probably found good reasons to despise them for their NY-centered coverage and complete disdain and neglect for anything outside of the East Coast sports establishment.
