We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Remember the Trade Center!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
North Korea, in the six-way talks to discuss the dismantling of its nuclear weapons program, announced it has a nuclear weapon and will test it. [Ed. Note: The United States should announce in return that it has a nuclear weapon and intends to "test" it.]
In the left's continuing attempt to disarm Israel, the International Atomic Energy Agency announced it will look into "Israeli Nuclear Capabilities and Threats".
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Tomorrow's Auburn-USC game should tell us a lot about how good Auburn is. They are getting plenty of positive talk and several have picked them as national champs. They've got a very difficult schedule, though, and tomorrow's game is no walkover. Good luck!

FWIW our local radio guys were saying that they would NOT be surprised to see the Titans in the AFC championship game this year. They were impressed.

John McLean is a sportswriter from Houston who makes it on all the sports shows to talk about the NFL. Supposedly he's very knowledgeable and respected. He's picking the Titans to WIN the Super Bowl this year.
Our first game is a rematch with the Raiders. Only this time, I think the game is here!

The Saints need to hire a voodo doctor and let him take the spell off the super dome in N.O. It is built on a old voodo cemetary you now, its got the 'hex' on that ground and they will not win if the spell is not taken off of it. Its doubtful if they would win if only one team was in the NFL, them.

My sister was visiting my grandmothers when Camille hit. They had to be evacuated in a boat but the property didn't suffer much damage. That was on the Biloxi side of the Back Bay, by the old bridge, that got torn apart.
North of the Back Bay, my other grandmother's house was completely flattened by some kind of big storage tank that blew ashore and rolled around like a rolling pin and flattened the house completely, everything crushed.
We went to visit and the highway along the beach was ripped up, concrete chunks going every whichway.
And all the beautiful old houses, gone.
My great grandfather was lead carpenter when the Edgewater Hotel was built, beautiful wood everywhere, and that was all destroyed.
Biloxi just hasn't been the same since.
Now ya'll have the casinos, which I hate. Last time I went through Biloxi and saw the casinos I started crying and vowed I wouldn't come back. I hate the casinos in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, too. I don't gamble and don't approve of it.

I talked to a couple of my old buddies I policed with and we talked about doing something like this, I think it would be fun but I am telling you, it would not be believed. The things we had happen in those days would crack you up.
I took over the chief job in a town in 4500 right in the middle of the Mississippi Delta. I had a meeting with the officers to explain the Miranda decision to the, upu know, warning someone of their rights. I asked them if they new who Mirinda was and one officer raised his hand and said 'yes sir, he owns a farm up around Isola, Ms'. I knew I was in trouble for sure.

I knew I was in trouble for sure. That's a great story. I bet you have quite a few "war stories" to tell about those days.

Wrote you a dissertation as reply to your #199 of last night. Did not realize that it posted at the end of yesterday's thread. Needless to say don't know how to bring it forward. Sorry.
Good luck with your mil this weekend. Prayers.
To: gulfcoast6
I also would encourage you to write down some of yur stories, or commit them to tape. I wish I had done that with my dad. He was a great story-teller, and although I remember the general outlines of his tales of WWII, I can't reproduce the color. It is so important to do this so that your granddaughter will know what you did.
To: Mr. Mulliner; MozartLover
Hope I didn't hurt your feelings about the TITANS....
It is nice you have such high hopes for a LOSER of a team.
