This is my first time posting a thread, but this will make you feel wonderful.
I teach at a low-income school in CA and we wrote the soldiers letters of support. It is unedited.
 Dear Soldier,
I know what you are doing is good. But, don't forget it is for our rights.
I hope you survive and come home safe. When you leave I will say a prayer and here it is.
When the sun goes down and everyone is sleeping,
if I hear a sound like things around me creeping, I look at the American flag and tell myself not to be scared.
I know that I am safe because you are there protecting us.

    From a friend:

My daughter, Rachel Loy (who is in Austin on Spring Break this week), wrote this song 2 days ago for Matthew, a friend of ours in the Marines, fighting on the front lines. The response has been pretty incredible, so I just wanted you guys to hear it.Go to: http://www.dudleyandbobshow.com/Rachel%20Loy-Same%20Man(Studio).mp3 to download the song.

    That lettter is truly outstanding.
It brings tears to the eyes of a 56 year old Vietnam Vet, who finally sees some hope that our younger generation isn't totally poisoned like the great unwashed hordes one is seeing in the streets.
This letter would make a fantastic poster! Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
 Keep the faith for Freedom
 Greg

Thanks for thinking of me. This is great. I am going to pass this on to others. Kids have great things to say if we give them a chance.

Thank you, LibertyThug, for teaching your students the importance of our military, both past and present, and allowing them to think and write. Our troops will love the letters. Thanks, kayak, for the ping.

And thank you for standing against the NEA tide of anti-American liberalism in the classroom. What a wonderful project you've given these kids! Bless ya.
