Good morning you 2. My backyard & the front, too, is a disaster area for the second day in a row after last night's storm....
And I thought today was going to be a relaxing one...
To: Molly Pitcher
I think we had rain storms last night....I slept pretty good so other than the wet seats in my car from leaving my windows open....I didn't hear a thing...HAHAHA.

We'll unstick everyone: Did you hear that A-Rod is willing to give up 30-40% of his salary "for the good of baseball"??
Wonder what the other players think of this???

Good morning Guenevere! You can talk about that trial as much as you want here, as far as I'm concerned.....just don't feel qualified to comment much on it myself...
Have never watched much of the televised trials, even OJ. The last one I remember spending much time on was that Smith (Kennedy) one down in Florida. Remember that? And that was only because the woman involved had an Akron connection.
Please tell your husband that I finally finished The Sacred Romance and found much to think about in it, and appreciate his giving it to me.....Difficult at times to read and absorb, and will probably reread a few passages from time to time, but it's that kind of book.

'ping'....sl....hope you can behave yourself today :^
..Janis Joplin, indeed!
Trill, be very selective in the posts you read, dearie.
...hubby is trying to surprise you!!
We all want to come along too (that's a lovely B&B), but for some reason, he won't let us.
To: M Kehoe
LOL! He's the highest paid, right??? But still, it'll be interesting to see if anybody else rushes to join him in that offer...**snicker**
To: Molly Pitcher
#31....Thank-you Molly.....you are special!
Yes, that book is hard to get through.....I commend you!
And thanks again for the invite to vent about that trial.
I appreciate it, but guess I will refrain.
....Probably the ONLY thing that can help that man now-- (if indeed he was framed)-- is prayer, and lots of it.
Wednesday will start the penalty phase, and finally there will be those who can defend & speak well of him.....
..I will be tuning in.
thanks again!!!!

Goooooooooeeeyyyy Morning to you all!
(Ahhh... I'm stuck to this chair!)
Great opening Nita!
We are indeed fortunate to have such wonderful people on this site. I am proud to know you all!
Last night we had our graduation ceromony, and dinner for our Japanese students. They love America, and many don't want to leave. Such a testament to this wonderful Country. Today we are going to try and get her to a hot air balloon show. She'll leave for Chicago tomorrow, and then back to Japan!
I caught some of Bush's remarks in Stockton, Calif. yesterday. What an inspiring leader. He's always optimistic, and has faith in the American people. (A far cry from the likes of Gore, Daschle, or Gebby boy.)It was wonderful to hear this crowd chanting USA! USA! USA!
Prayers and wishes to all for a wonderful, and safe weekend!
To: M Kehoe
Signed: Spelling police.
That was intentional, and you were the ONLY one who caught it...hehehe

To: Northern Yankee
Have a great weekend yourself, NY. Your friend should enjoy the balloons. You've been a great host to her.
