We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Please take a moment to upset a liberal and a Ninth Circus Court Judge by honoring our flag:
I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE
TO THE FLAG
OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,
AND TO THE REPUBLIC
FOR WHICH IT STANDS,
ONE NATION
UNDER GOD
WITH LIBERTY,
AND JUSTICE,
FOR ALL.
In the three-ring circus in Arlington, it was revealed that last week Moussaoui filed court papers that referred to The Evil One as "my brother in Islam and my Father in Jihad" and added "May Allah protect him."
He also stated that prosecutors would have to prove he was in Afghanistan to secure a conviction. Problem is - Moussaoui has already admitted as much.
NASDAQ closed yesterday lower than its post-9/11 low.
The FBI reports a female passenger allegedly tried to gain entrance to an airplane cockpit.
And scientists have linked smoking high amounts of marijuana to scschizophrenia.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Hope W takes them gloves off soon!
Just heard on Paul Harvey that Alfred Goodwin, the 9th Circuit Court Justice, who wrote the opinion making the Pledge of Allegiance Unconstitutional, has come our publicly saying that those of us who opposed the ruling are "Mindless".
I assume he made that statement while packing his bags. He just ain't gonna find too many friends in the US anymore!

I'll get the recipe.

The Ideal Woman: 'She has to be real tough and career oriented, but I also want her to be with me and want to be at the races. If I see just a hint of a lack of interest, it won't work."Oh man, I am the woman for him!!! I'm tough, I can change the tires on my Camaro, can't do all four in 15.9 seconds, but hey I don't have a high powered torque wrench either. And I have a career, which thankfully, only takes up 40 hours of my week, Monday through Friday, but I could work a compressed schedule in order to make trials and happy hour on Friday, the Busch race on Saturday and the WC race on Sunday, then fly back home and back to work on Monday.
I'm perfect for the boy!!

Yes, when I reported yesterday that today's high would hit 100, I was mistaken. The news I had reflected the heat index which should top 100!
Maybe I could use the heat as an excuse for my flower beds looking the way they do....nay, Molly and Janey make that impossible!
Heard some of what the "tree" sprouted yesterday and it was complete garbage. At that point I left for some reason; couldn't stand to continue the torture. I guess I'm not very strong. sob, sob

Yes, I believe that is one of the stages some people go through along with denial, anger, bitterness.
I wish I could give her a hug. ((Terran)) and ((DallasGal)).
Back later...must get some chores done before the heat gets worse than it is. All....keep cool.

Ha!! Well it's one less thing we have to hear them complain about...I've noticed that the President is slowly but surely addressing his campaign promises. Seems as though the Bushwackers want it all, immediately.
And like you, I don't agree with everything that he has done, but I do understand the art of compromise, the lack of help from the Senate or Congress, and he has my complete support.

The Ideal Woman
1. Gets up and gets you another beer before you ask for one.
2. Remembers to buy batteries for the remote before the old ones die.
3. Replaces the batteries in the remote before you get home.
4. Likes sports -- lots of 'em. And the Discovery Wings Channel. And the History Channel. And anything that has fast machines.
5. Thinks 'an evening with candlelight' is Fireworks Night at Yankee Stadium.
6. Likes sweet nothings whispered into her ear (like, 'I think the Giambi trade was great, don't you?').
7. Surfs through ALL 600 satellitle stations faster than you do.
8. Will gladly stop watching Looking for Love: Bachelorettes in Alaska in favor of Young Frankenstein or any Monty Python DVD.
9. Doesn't complain because you won't ask for directions -- she's already printed them out from Map Quest, just in case ;)
10. Makes you feel like the luckiest guy on Earth -- because you are.

Ok...
We always buy SURE JELL fruit pectin. (Brand name.) we prefer the one that has For Lower sugar recipes, written on the box.
Directions are inside.
Discard stems and crush strawberries.
4 cups of Crushed strawberries.
3 cups of sugar
1 box SURE GELL
Makes about 6 cups.
Make sure you use the quick and easy method that are on the directions. (They have the traditional method of cooking, and the quick and easy method, which we prefer.)
Wash and Crush berries, and leave in separate bowl.
Stir in box of SURE GELL, and sugar to cooking pot. Add 1 cup of water. Bring to boil, on medium heat, while stirring constantly.
Boil and stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
Stir in fruit mixture quickly to hot pectin-sugar mix. Stir 1 minute or until thoroughly mixed.
Pour into prepared containers, leaving 1/2 inch space at top for expansion during freezing;cover.
LET STAND AT ROOM TEMPERATURE FOR 24 HOURS UNTIL SET. Store in freezer.
Enjoy!
To: Bitwhacker
I have one word for you....puh...lease!
To: Northern Yankee
Thanks, I just have a few questions. Do you use plastic ware for the freezer? I'm just trying to make sure and do you measure precisely? What do you use to crush your berries?
To: Bitwhacker
Haha! Upon reading the definitive statement of idealism from Mr. Bitwhacker, I have determined that I'm nearly ideal.
To: Bitwhacker

Hi Nita, I'm not babe and I'm just guessing but I-95 in Delaware can be brutish with traffic. And the traffic police are out in droves during holiday driving times. I've done that drive to King of Prussia scores of times....
To: OneidaM
Watch the speed traps in Delaware as soon as you cross the state line on Rt. 13/1. It goes from 65 to 45 in no time flat and the cops were pulling people over in droves yesterday....
