Trump wants to build a big beautiful arch. And yes, that's making liberals mad for some reason.
They even analyzed every single grave or monument that would be touched briefly by the shadow of the arch, then added up all the models to calculate that the arch's shadow would touch some kind of monument or grave 284 days of the year.

The Post’s articles risk leaving readers with the pernicious idea that it’s commonplace for Veterans and their private benefits consultants to scam the VA benefits claims system by using PTSD and other mental health disorders as an excuse to collect benefits from the government.
They need to ban nighttime.

I have stood on that very ground, counterprotesting against Leftists who meant to dishonor and damage our war memorials. Here is the group I was with back around 2008:
As you can see, it is a completely bland and unattractive area. I think it would be a grand addition. People who think this is a waste of land or money can kiss my ass with their faux "Oh, it is disrespectful" BS. Those people don't give a damn about our war dead.
That message on that banner we put up there applies directly to those same people.
My parents are both interred there, and I regard it as a great privilege for them to be amongst those war dead, and I value what we do there and the tribute we pay.
