Idiocracy Rant - Medical Service
self | Sept 28, 2026 | fwdude

Posted on 09/28/2026 1:09:50 PM PDT by fwdude

I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing this in the last several years or if others have noticed this as well. I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone whenever I talk to medical provider offices. The level of communication skills is just in the gutter. I get ghetto-level schedulers and other personnel who can barely speak English, or who don't speak clearly into the phone. Not at one provider only, but with ALL the providers I deal with.

And their knowledge of their jobs is just as abysmal. It's like I went to a Walmart cashier to have my gall bladder removed. I can't get a coherent sentence from anyone, either because they're straight of of the 'hood, or English is their second or third language. Don't competent white males or females apply for these jobs anymore?

It's idiocracy brought to life! I feel like society is crumbling.

It isn’t just you and it isn’t just medical providers. Depending on where you live is what matters. Here at my house in Ca, if I live my little town at least 75% of the strangers I come across are incapable of speaking plain ordinary ENGLISH and I can barely understand most of them. AT my house in AZ where I am most of the time, we don’t have that problem at all. Now my town is 85% white and in AZ where I live it is 95% white. Not to many foreigners.

I guess that makes me a White Supremacist huh?

I believe the medical field is subject to the same problem as other fields. Medicine as a business is taking the place of medicine as a profession that has business aspects. The emphasis is on the business part, making money, and not on the profession part, providing medical care.

I’m trying to update my address for 8 years at some insurance company. Apparently, the information is being stored at various levels and, depending on the situation, gets retrieved accordingly, causing confusion. Mind boggling....

Ding ding... winner winner.

These places probably don’t pay their administrative and clerical help, all in the name of profit. They get what they pay for.

I do my voting with my feet whenever I have a choice.
I wont return anywhere that witness or get affected by incompetence, or even sub-par communication.

Expose H1B Fraud
@JobsNowPaper
BREAKING: Rochester General Hospital in New York hired 82 resident doctors.

80 are foreign workers on H-1B or J-1 visas.
Only 2 are Americans.

98% of the residency slots went to visa workers- mostly from countries with documented USMLE cheating.

Americans got 2 jobs.

...requiring them to present themselves in manner consistent with job performance is racist.

A disappointing number of states have passed laws granting hairstyles with the same level of anti-discrimination "protection" as race. To their utter shame, Texas passed the "CROWN Act" that granted the right of anyone to apply or work for any employer who could not fire or turn them down because of hairstyles, no matter how unsanitary (dreadlocks) or unsightly. Our "conservative" Governor Greg Abbott sign it into law in 2023.

It doesn't take to much of a stretch to apply this "right" to any other aspect of appearance, including fingernails, bizarre piercings and full-body tattoos. The law effectively nullified all grooming and dress codes everywhere in the state.

They've taken it and ran with it.

anti-discrimination "protection"

So ... let's suppose I'm the foreman at a machine-shop. And one of these critters with three-foot long extensions and 4-inch long nails applies to be a lathe operator ...

Would I be in violation were I to not hire her? Or send her home if she just showed up to work one day looking like that?

Hypothetically?

Yup. I've always been a Capitalist, Free Market kind of guy. But I look around, and everywhere I go, every institution is 100% focused on squeezing every last penny out of every customer, and also working their employees to the bone while paying them as little as possible. It's all about the money. Nothing else registers. That seems like a new thing to me, and it's not what I consider "capitalism". It's looting society.

He is one of the “conservatives” who is busy conserving leftist victories.

In Texas, you would be in violation. Of course, you could require that they bundle their locks in a hairnet or something like that. But if they balked about their “heritage,” you could probably be sued.

Huh ...

But when their nails and their extensions get caught in the machine and ripped off of them and they end up in the hospital ...

OSHA would own my ass ...

Abbott’s campaign ads are some of the most embarrassing, unprofessional ads out there. I’m disgusted every time they come on the radio or internet. He has ZERO charisma.

Non-profits are not subject to the yearly cap of 85,000 workers in the lottery for H-1Bs. Although the word “hospital” is not explicitly used, here is an explanation of the rules :

https://h1bgrader.com/blog/h-1b-cap-exempt-employers-list-faqs/

You can look up such exempt employers here :

https://h1bgrader.com/h1b-cap-exempt-sponsors

Here is my usual lengthy post on H-1Bs :

History of the H-1B visa:

Archived :

https://archive.is/OymCH

https://americanaffairsjournal.org/2025/11/the-rise-and-fall-of-the-h-1b-visa/

Data from Federal government agencies, such as the USCIS and Department of Labor :

USCIS’s H-1B Employer Data Hub :

https://www.uscis.gov/tools/reports-and-studies/h-1b-employer-data-hub

PERM, LCA (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3) data and statistics - U.S. Department of Labor :

https://www.dol.gov/agencies/eta/foreign-labor/performance

H-1B (and H-1B1, E-3) LCA Labor Condition Application filings, which are far higher than the number of H-1Bs actually granted. The LCA is the first step for a company to take in applying for an H-1B. The rows are order by number of LCA/H-1B applications at respective companies from highest downward :

https://layoffhedge.com/h1b

As for numbers of OPT and CPT visas (handled by DHS - ICE), the only data available are that of the top 200 employers. Of course, Federal agencies cannot provide the names of the individual visa holders. It will take FOIA/Freedom Of Information Act inquires to get complete lists of OPT and CPT employers.

Thousands of Middlemen Are Gaming the H-1B Program (Bloomberg) - shortcut :

Industrialized Fraud in the H-1B program :

During the Biden administration, H-1B visa holders were buying houses with 97-100% financing :

https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4379360/posts

I asked Google AI :

“Does the FHA have a list of subsidized loans made to H-1B holders?”

It said the “FHA does not collect citizenship or residency status on standard loan applications.”

Google then offered to provide me information on “Conventional Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac mortgages that still allow H-1B borrowers”.

Here’s a graphic on how OPTs have flattened wages :

https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2021-opinion-optional-practical-training-problems-stem-graduates-deserve-better-jobs-opportunities/

More on STEM-OPT visas :

Besides OPT and STEM OPT extensions, there is also CPT, Curricular Practical Training. Giving the term “Day 1 CPT” to Google AI yields :

“Day 1 CPT allows eligible international students on F-1 visas to start off-campus work authorization on the very first day of their academic program, bypassing the standard one-year waiting period.”

https://careerconnections.smeal.psu.edu/blog/2025/09/18/what-is-day-1-cpt/

H-1Bs don’t go home :

https://x.com/LayoffAI/status/2071566853009277385

Searching Google with the terms “fannie mae H-1B” yields the following from its AI :

“...
Mortgage and Home Loan Eligibility

Borrower approval: H-1B visa holders are fully eligible for conventional home mortgages backed by Fannie Mae under the same baseline terms as U.S. citizens.”

Can H-1B Holders Get a US Home Loan Without Credit? Truth Explained

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuYEaCrtBpY

Documentation rules: Borrowers must possess a valid Social Security Number (SSN) and a current, verified legal status documented by an unexpired work visa or I-94/I-797 paperwork.”

Searching Google with the terms “freddie mac H-1B” yields the following from its AI :

“...
Mortgage Guidelines for H-1B Holders

Loan Eligibility: Non-U.S. citizens with nonpermanent lawful residency status (such as an H-1B visa) are eligible for Freddie Mac mortgage guidelines on the same terms as U.S. citizens, provided they have valid residency status and meet standard credit requirements (typically a credit score of 620 or higher).”

This link, dated 2025 is shocking. Loans for investment and vacation homes are POSSIBLE :

A credit score of 620 or higher is required to be eligible for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans.

Why would you want tile?? Grout lines alone are a nightmare to clean. I got a stone composite shower walls and love it. Plus a full length bench to sit on. I’m very happy with it.
