Last week Tim talked with Jesse Lehrich, who walked through a scenario where the D’s wind up with 54 Senate seats a few weeks from now.

That’s crazy. But not as crazy as it sounds. There is a path. All Dems have to do is run the table on the Big 5 races,1 win a gettable Iowa, and then luck into Kansas. Hell, if you want an even bigger hit of the dragon, you can get to 56 seats if there’s a backlash to Darline Graham in South Carolina and Dan Osborn overperforms in Nebraska.
What would Democrats do with 56 senators?
This would be a caucus with instantly vulnerable freshmen in Alaska and Texas. The South Carolina senator would be an assumed one-termer. There would be an independent from a red state. And John Fetterman.
Suddenly that 56-seat best-case scenario looks awfully soft.

How much of a fraud must Bill Kristol have been that now he’s supporting a party of Communists and Islamists? Seeing villainous chumps like this show their true colors is somehow very gratifying.
Even if they don’t like Trump, anyone who honestly claims to be a conservative cannot possibly support electing a Democratic Congress.
He is just retuning too his Troskyite heritage.
Think of how incredible it would have been if Trump kept his campaign promises deporting 10M illegals, enacting the DOGE cuts, fixing the economy, etc...
Inflation would be so low it might be negative.
We might be running a surplus.
Gas would be at $1.50.
Salaries and wages would be soaring.
And we would INCREASE our majority in both houses.
But no.....fighting a war for Israel was more important.
All the Dems really need is 51 seats.
Then, they could team up with the Republicans and pass a sweeping socialist agenda. Pack the Supreme Court, abolish congress, kill all the rich people, impeach Trump a few times, and make Islam the national religion.
No one would stop them. “Elections have consequences” when the Democrats win.

They should open thousands of re-education camps and send anyone who voted for Trump to them.
“Stop data centers” - No, how stupid. Now, maybe stop local tax benefit/teaser? OK, that’s less stupid.
“Make AI safe” - stupid. I’m open to ideas, but that’s just dumb words.
“Protect your healthcare” - more stupid. Stop trying to get a little bit pregnant and just be honest. If you want socialist universal healthcare, just say so.
“Fix the rotten Supreme Court” - the supreme court is fine. The courts are properly fulfilling their role as a 3rd coequal branch. Sometimes they anger me. Sometimes they don’t. There’s nothing to “fix”.
“Get us out the Middle East” - this one is tougher. I don’t believe in turtling. But... maybe. The ME has been a bipartisan finger trap all my all life. Possible we *should* just fall back on “not my clowns, not my circus”. The US is energy independent and a net exporter. If the rest of the world cares? Maybe they should deal with it.
“Renew our friendship with Canada”. Sorry, but I agree. Picking pointless trade war fights with Canada was dumb and one of the biggest self-inflicted wounds DJT committed.
“Hold the oligarchs accountable”. Stupid populism slop. Accountable *for what*? Being successful? This is why Bill is pointless.
“Release the Epstein Files” - it’s a teeter-totter of political nonsense. By all means, criminal perverts should be charged and prosecuted - but it’s become a stupid cudgel that varies based on who is in power. Enough.

The communists deliberately infiltrate. It’s what they do.
They are trained to put on the appearance of a conservative, and sent on mission to sabotage. Their operation often lasts many years.

Appointing her to replace Lindsey Graham, and supporting her for a six year Senate term, are two of the most reckless decisions Trump has made in the White House.
