A female Tennessee death row inmate has asked that she be killed by an all-female execution squad after she was convicted for murdering her classmate more than 30 years ago.

Yes. I've always hated the fact that killers make on the spur of the moment decisions to kills a family in a home invasion or maybe spare someone. Same with hostages in bank and other robberies.
Then the ACLU and churches and political hacks take years of discussion time back and forth along with demands for retrials and appeals.
Many death row convicts get to live for decades but the victims are long since dead and the families never really live it down.
She’s hoping that they all miss.

I will never undestand why death row executions are not done today with Fentanyl. Fast and painless and guaranteed death. Why continue the crap with electric chairs or injected junk. Fentanyl is instantaneous lights out and guaranteed to work.
I don’t get it. I meal, load it into a twinkie and feed it to them at the end of their last meal. POOF. Gone.

Everytime we have used what was called modern technology to solve the problem of how to execute people (guillotine, electrocution, gas chamber), it has backfired.
The simplest solutions, hanging by a drop (neck breaking) and shooting them, are still the best way. I’m just improving the aim and using a really big bullet or a bunch of them.
It’ll be messy, but that is contained in a small box. No one needs to clean this mess. And the advantages are extreme certainty of effectiveness, painless, and cheap.
The human nervous system cannot perceive things that fast. Pain CANNOT be perceived in under 100 milliseconds. It’s just not possible.
In that time, the bullet will have traveled 280 feet. Basically, the person will feel nothing because by the time the nerves even on the skin could be perceive something is touching them, there won’t be a brain to do the perceiving.

Here’s the difference. When you put a head in a fixed mask that doesn’t allow movement which is inside a box, that bullet is hitting the brain stem, 100% of the time.
In the video they are talking about a shot that goes through the cerebrum and misses the brain stem. Also, instead of a 5.56 bullet, use two 12 gauge 00 shot, one from the rear, the other from the side. Why not 50 cal as I stated originally? The box would need to be massive both the stop over penetration (leaving the box) but also from coming apart, the levels of energy are too great.
After the shots are fired, the weapon is simply diss-attatched, the holes in the box plugged shut, the box remains on the corpse, around the neck is a double neoprene rubber seal to contain fluids. Done.
