Researchers have begun drilling into a mysterious, boat-shaped formation in the mountains of eastern Turkey, hoping an underground robot will unearth the answer to one of biblical history’s biggest mysteries.
Members of the Noah’s Ark Scans expedition believe the Durupinar formation, located in eastern Turkey near Mount Ararat, could mark the final resting place of the vessel described in Genesis.
“Good morning from the outer rims of Noah’s ark,” the project’s marketing and fundraising director, divisive Christian activist Lauren Witzke, wrote in a Tuesday update.
“Core drilling has begun and the big bang evolutionists are already in damage control mode,” she continued.
Witzke said the expedition had Turkish government approval and oversight from local universities, with “some of the most brilliant minds in the world” taking part.
She made the sensational claim that, “When we are done, university curricula will need to be rewritten, and Darwinism will be dismantled.”
“This is the place where creation began anew,” she enthused.

I had Noah’s Ark decorated sheets when I was a little boy. Have not thought of them in several decades.
Wood older than the pyramids staying intact... I’m going with a hard ‘no’ on that.
Spoiler alert -- this geological formation 29 km from Mt Ararat isn't the remains of a boat, much less Noah's Ark:

Would be nice if the Ark is under there, but highly improbable. For one thing, it’s not the right shape - the Bible describes a rectangular maritime barge, not a boat.
Has no one followed the findings of Ron Wyatt, including Noah’s Ark, the Dead Sea crossing, and Sodom and Gomorrah?

They’ve been exploring and surveying that site for more than 50 years. As yet they still can’t so much as prove that that’s the remains of a boat, yet they still manage to find people eager to throw money at them.
It appears to be a money-making opportunity. I hope they got some real roughnecks to trip dat pipe.

Definitely not in those categories, since folk tales of a massive flood are endemic to ancient Mesopotamia, including in the Epic of Gilgamesh . Here’s one potential explanation:

As a Christian for about 55 years, I have to agree with you. Possible? Sure. Likely? Not at all.
It could be petrified.
The oldest petrified wood on Earth is roughly 360 million years old.
