A Delta Air Lines Boeing 757-300 returned to Minneapolis just 21 minutes after departure Monday after its first officer reported chest pain, numbness in both arms and legs, and a heart rate in the high 100s.
Delta 1208 was headed from Minneapolis to Orlando with 178 passengers and seven crew. It took off at 11:29 a.m. Central, already nearly two hours late. About four minutes later, the captain told air traffic control, “We need to return to the field.”

I’ve never had a flu shot in my life.
I’ve never had the actual flu; only a 2-3 day head cold about every 3 years or so.
Correlation ain’t causation but I’m sticking to my plan.
All that said, yes, I have heard that some new formulation of the flu shot is mRNA tech. I do not know whether it’s been distributed and is in use, or only developed and might still be in some early phase of production.
Ask your doctor very specifically what kind it is if you think you want a flu shot, and — as ever — caveat emptor.

My wife and I have been under the weather for a week now. It might be a cold, RSV, Covid, perhaps the flu.
I never had an mRNA shot. My wife took the shot and one booster. During the Covid years we each had two bad colds. She also developed a lump, since removed successfully.
I had the Russian flu in the late 70s. My wife, who, is 14 months older, was unaffected due to childhood exposure. It was something else. I was bedridden for about a week. I remember going from sweats that left me soaked to chills that had my teeth chattering, and back again. Mostly, it was warm tea and rest.
I’m actually going to be fair to the medical geeks on this one. The flu virus mutates pretty quickly. Over 130 strands per year, all categorized within groups A, B, or C. The idea is that if about 40 strands can be categorized as group A, then giving you a group A shot inoculates you. But IMHO grouping the strands into 3 groups is too simplistic and, therefore, not effective.

Flu shots are garbage IMO as are all the vaccines. Check the CDC website for proof of the flu shot effectiveness. Note that in 2020-2021, there was “NO” flu because it was called “Covid.” Covid was a bioweapon created out of the flu intended for world depopulation and control.
