Actress Hayden Panettiere has died, her representative confirmed to ABC News. She was 36 years old.
"It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her -- and to the millions who watched her onscreen," her father, Skip Panettiere, said in a statement.
Her father asked for privacy "as our family takes time to process this unimaginable loss."

Parents who let their children get into showbiz at a young age are guilty of child abuse. Hollywood is an evil place.
Her brother died at 28.
Her brother’s death was an enlarged heart. Could be a hereditary issue that the Klitschko brother will have to check because their daughter could have the same problem.
These people who seemingly have it all - wealth, beauty, fame - yet their lives are an absolute mess. Sorry HP died so young. RIP and prayers for her and her family.
From what I've read about Panettiere this morning, it wasn't that she was allowed to get into showbiz, she was thrust into showbiz.

They were never married but they did break up.
Very sad and a talented young lady. She was great in Remember the Titans! I did some reading on here and it looks like she was a very troubled person. she came out in May saying that she was bisexual and suffered with drug/alcohol addiction. Her doctor had warned her that she would be dead in 5 years if she didn’t get it under control. The cause of death looks like one of two things. She either had a congenital heart issue like her 28 year old brother died from or she OD’d accidental or intended.
Aged out of the Hollywood/television system, chewed up, spit out and discarded. She’s not the first, second or third that this has happened to, long line of women just like her.
Why do they never name names. They always hint darkly at big bad powerful guys. Who are they? Say their names.
It is a bit melodramatic but overall, I think it was a good TV series, especially the first 3 seasons, then it descends a bit. I hate pretty much everything new being put out for TV and streaming so that gives you my perspective on TV.

I hate recreational drugs with a passion reserved for Satan himself. They destroy too man lives.
Hayden had been in drug rehab several times due to ongoing drug addiction and alcoholism. Last time was 2020 when her doctor cited her liver damage from drugs and alcohol (opiods).
She couldn’t kick the habit. Drugs are the devil spawn and for too many, once hooked they are doomed. Lord, I HATE drugs!
RIP Hayden. What a waste. I hate drugs so much.
