Dick Van Dyke was seen leaning on a walker as he enjoyed a rare outing with wife of 14 years Arlene Silver in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The 100-year-old Hollywood legend, who married the makeup artist back in 2012, enjoyed the lowkey daytime excursion as the pair also stopped by a Starbucks drive-thru to pick up tasty drinks.
Van Dyke kept it casual wearing a pair of dark blue sweatpants as well as a short-sleeved white shirt.
The Mary Poppins star was spotted strolling next to his wife as they made their way down a sidewalk.
He was also seen stepping out of the passenger side of a vehicle, which included a special item hanging directly above the dashboard.
An air freshener with a photo of the Emmy winner was placed around the rearview mirror in a lighthearted nod to the actor.
'She gives me energy. She gives me humor, and all kinds of support,' he said of his wife while talking to ABC News last year.
He also discussed how he still feels young at 100.
'The funniest thing is, it's not enough. A hundred years is not enough. You want to live more, which I plan to.'
Van Dyke explained that both he and his wife remain active, which he attributed to his health.
'We go to the gym three days a week, [my wife's] a health nut, and we work out,' the actor said. 'That's good advice for anybody.'
The award-winning star added that he doesn't suffer from 'any ache or pain,' before calling himself 'lucky.'
And during an interview with The Mirror, Van Dyke explained that he gave up drinking years earlier in 1972 after alcohol had 'ruined' his life.
He recalled doing a stint in rehab for 'two weeks' while sharing that it was 'nothing like today.' Afterwards, he 'did the whole AA 12-step thing.'

whatever his politics, he looks pretty good for a person 100 years old!
A free nurse ?
Couldn’t go a mere 100 years without spouting some liberal crap.
Free ?
It’s still doing it!...............
Recently watched an episode of 77 Sunset Strip with Mary Tyler Moore .
Gorgeous woman. Adam West was also in that episode.
I am already 86 and still no health issues. Hoping to equal mother’s life span of 103 years.
“…D’ja hear the lates’ ‘bout Trump…?”
“###…No, dear, what’d the orange man do now…?”
A lot of attractive women back then.
I contend it’s because they were naturally beautiful.....no “enhancements”.....just as God made them.
Rush read a letter once from a Hollywood person, that he declined to name for obvious reasons, that said people in Hollywood will espouse the liberal lines necessary to get work, but are really conservative people that are afraid to admit it. They know that all the big Hollywood producers, directors and studio execs are uber libs and they will blacklist anyone that is different.............
Heartwarming and encouraging. He’d probably be dead if he had to live in Europe without air conditioning.
Yep. If I'm going to be intellectually honest, I've given the same pass to Gene Rodenberry and Rod Serling. One of the tenets of progressivism is that human evolution can be guided to improve or perfect human nature. I suspect that having witnessed the horrors of WWII many of them embraced the hope that mankind could do better, and would gravitate toward political and cultural movements that promised a better world with better people.
It would be a natural, though IMHO, naive reaction. The, "human perfectability," hope of progressives largely gave rise to the eugenics movement they were fighting in the first place, and it still lives on more insidiously in the abortion and euthenasia movements.
Contrast all that with the more conservative worldview of Jimmy Stewart who lived firsthand the airwar over Europe. Not long after the war he made, "Rope," with Alfred Hitchcock, which was based on the real life story of Leopold and Loeb, who thought their intellectual superiority gave them an ubermenschian privilege to kill their lessers.
Establishing the benefits of smoking tobacco at a young age.
Libs think THEY are the party of family values.
The late singer Tony Bennett was very liberal. He was also an infantryman, and a veteran of brutal house-to-house fighting as the US Army pushed into Germany. Bennett later said that the experience turned him into a pacifist and a liberal.
I respect that.
Nevertheless, you make a very good point. The Democrat Party of the old days has morphed into something very ugly.
I have older friends and relatives who just can’t see that. They still think it’s the party of JFK. So they still vote D. Could Van Dyke and Bennett be in that same boat?
I actually don’t think he looks that good. His face looks pretty vacant. Just from the pics, he looks like an animated corpse.
His wife does not look happy. She probably imagined that marrying a movie star (albeit one past his prime) would be glamorous. And maybe it was for a while. But now she is his full-time nurse.
She may have chosen him because he is fun, good company, and makes for a good friend.
A lot of people don’t realize how interesting and fun some 86 year olds can be, you see that in some creative types, my best friend in California was 25 years older than me, a worldly and sophisticated artist who people wanted at their fancy parties and the guy I most wanted to spend my day with, and all that was still true when he was in his 80s.
Dick van Dyke probably had more than enough social life during his 80s because of his humor and personality, throw in residual fame and a wealthy lifestyle and people like being around that, and not for dark cynical reasons but because you look forward to the day with him, it beats the average day of the average person, and even of the average female.
For some, the only requirements for a full-time at-home nurse are soft, but strong, hands and long arms that never get tired.
My girlfriend is 14 years younger than me. Even today I sometimes wonder if I might be robbing that cradle. But 45 years? She’s looking for an inheritance and he’s looking for someone to wipe the tapioca from his chin.
Andy Griffith was another hater. Because of his homespun Mayberry schtick people thought he was conservative patriotic homeboy.
Same with Grandpa Walton. LOL
Proves they were good actors though. 🤔🤣
