Al Gore Explains That While ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ Did Not Prove Accurate, It Did Make Him Incredibly Rich

NASHVILLE, TN — While commemorating the film's 20th anniversary, former Vice President Al Gore explained that while An Inconvenient Truth did not prove to be accurate, it did make him incredibly rich.

Gore, who wrote and starred in the Oscar-winning documentary, was happy to sit down for an interview with ABC News' Ginger Zee this week to discuss how successful the film was at building his wealth.

"I think the film was a great success, actually," Gore said, speaking of the film's numerous failed predictions. "For me, that is. It may not have been true in any way, but I sure enjoyed it. After all, I am now very, very rich."

During its initial release, An Inconvenient Truth was heavily criticized for what many considered extreme interpretations of climate models that predicted the extinction of polar bears, the melting of glaciers, and the sinking of Florida. However, even the most conservative climate scientists were unable to deny how much money it made for Gore.

"Though I believe climate change is a real concern, the vice president's film was alarmist nonsense," said Keith Graupel, an expert meteorologist for Channel 6 News. "But I guess he did get super rich, so there's that."

At publishing time, Al Gore had begun fundraising for a second sequel to finish his Inconvenient Trilogy because he wanted more money.

There is no “quiet part” anymore for these oafs; they are so full of themselves.

After all, I am now very, very rich.

What almost all politicians (mostly Dems) would say if they didn't have to deal with elections.

I think he’s been riding a hoax for a long time & still trying to ride the gravy train. I give him a big NO on credibility.
