In case you missed it... The mother of Henry Nowak's killer was arrested and charged with assisting an offender and found guilty by a jury. She awaits sentencing for her crime.
According to reports, The mother of Henry Nowak’s killer, Vickrum Digwa (also referred to as Vickrum Singh Digwa), hid the murder weapon.
Digwa called his parents and they arrived at the scene before police.
Kiran Kaur (Digwa’s mother) took the knife from the scene before police arrived and hid it at their family home in nearby St Denys. Police later recovered it.
She took the knife home while Henry was bleeding out on the ground.
Kaur later was charged with assisting an offender (by removing/hiding the murder weapon) and found guilty by a jury. Digwa himself was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 21 years (sentencing on 1–2 June 2026).
Kiran Kaur reportedly awaits sentencing.

For years Freepers have been extolling the nobility and virtues of the Sikhs. I guess they were wrong.

I recall that meant FReepers said not to worry about Nikki Haley because she was raised Sikh and they’re wonderful peaceful people.
She’s Methodist now, but she still honored her parents’ faith.
I worked with a Sikh Engineer back in the 70’s and early 80’s.

I worked alongside a muslim back in the 80s and he never tried to kill me. I went to school and California State and there were muslims there, too. None of them tried to kill me, but it doesn’t make them decent people.

That is false. His religious knife, the Korean was much smaller. The 8.3" blade he used to murder Henry was a separate weapon that he illegally carried

Each point you wrote there is false
1. They were Sikhs, not muslims, so no “moon god”. The Sri Guru Granth Sahib explicitly rejects the worship of celestial bodies, idols, or physical deities, focusing instead on the singular, universal divine energy that they consider the one God.
2. Lying and deception are strictly forbidden in Sikhism even if it could save your skin. They aren’t Muslim with no concept of Taqqiyyah. Truth is considered a foundational spiritual principle. In the primary Sikh scripture, Guru Nanak famously wrote: “Truth is the highest virtue, but higher still is truthful living.”
3. The word jatha simply means a group, band, or troupe of people. It does not imply a clandestine group or an organization operating under distinct moral rules.

Ive been having this same conversation all day. People are all whipped up at them because they wear turbans too so people are transferring all their anger at the death cult onto them. Facebook and X have people making memes with a crusaders threatening the sikhs. They want a new crusade thats fine by me just point it at the right people.

Oh, I am unabashedly anti islam as my posts here in freerepublic.com will show. I joined in June 2001 and my world view was shaped by that September. And then I read the Quran, haditha and Sirah and became even more convinced of the evil that is Islam.
But Sikhs?
They aren’t Mohammedans. In fact their entire religion is a pushback against Islam
They need to deport her.
She needs yo be punished under UK laws and then deported. Or deported to be punished under India’s prison system

Of all the scores of posts on this dreadful case which have been posted on various threads, yours is the most carefully detailed and objective I’ve seen. Other considerations apart, it makes clear that the case against the police is far from being as slam dunk as at first appeared.
Just a couple of points: you mention coroner’s report. In fact the inquest hasn’t yet happened. Inquests on murder victims in the UK are always postponed until the conclusion of criminal proceedings. The coroner has already said that the inquest will examine the possibility that police action/inaction contributed to death. It should also clarify the uncertainties about timing which you point out.
