I didn’t see any black employees. Is that part of the humor?
I love his little wire hands which can very effectively convey his feelings towards the sad humans who are no longer needed.
A bunch of tech companies are laying off there’s like four or five of them. Should do wonders for unemployment numbers.
I went in to work for my mid-morning massage and my card wouldn’t work. So I called HR and they were all like “you’re laid off duh” so now I’m so bummed.
Sick that they used Clippy for that message.
Especially since Microsoft Bob is still looking for work after he was laid off 30 years ago!
Bobs Unite! Resist the Clip!
With a complete collapse of METAs virtual reality money pit, I’m continually shocked that their stock price is held firm where it is now
I guess investors knew from the get-go would be a disaster and it’s priced in
MICROSOFT’s CLIPPY!
You too?
Yes, the clearly upraised “middle” finger on his hands (even though each “hand” had only one finger). Made me laugh (darkly).
Those people are smart.
I am sure, they will learn how to mine coal!
“Especially since Microsoft Bob is still looking for work after he was laid off 30 years ago! Bobs Unite! Resist the Clip!”
ROFL! Nice!
I thought it was great that they brought Clippy out of retirement. All those getting laid off probably have NO idea about Clippy...they are way too young.
LOL...But did you get your double-shot caramel macchiato on the way out? It’s a good chunk of your severance, you know.
“I didn’t see any black employees. Is that part of the humor?”
DEI no longer allows layoffs of black employees. It was one of the requirements for bidding on (federal) government contracts.
I’m reaching here, wasn’t Clippy introduced in Windows Millennial Edition? I was just getting started in my IT career back then.
Answering my own question (which I could have done myself!) -
MS Office 97 came with Clippit the Document Assistant. (Clippy).
