A man is seen stealing an electric bike in Rancho Cucamonga, California
The man that he stole is from is running as fast as he can to get it back.
Eventually the man who stole the bike crashes and goes face first into a rock median strip.
A fall like this could kill someone. We can only hope the bike is okay….

Bike owner will be prosecuted for assault or something.
That man looks like he broke his neck.
When I commuted by bicycle, I used a quick-release seat post binder. When I parked the bike, I took the saddle and seatpost with me.
“A fall like this could kill someone.”
What would I do if that was MY BIKE and I was driving, seeing a thief speeding away on it?
Well, after the thief got thrown off the bike as though bucked by a Bronco, I would rush out of my car, grab MY BIKE, push it in the back seat, and call 911 for the Bike Thief as I drove away. Oh yes, and I would try to resist bragging about my victory by posting the whole thing online. That’s an important step!
Bugs Bunny was a material witness.
“Rancho Cucamonga is consistently ranked as one of the safer cities in San Bernardino County, even nationally. It often appears in “safest cities” lists.”
Lol. There is not one “safe” city in California.
Textbook fall for neck break.
Karma is a bitch.
Maybe he’ll take the battery in to an elevator like in that Youtube video ....
Those Wacky Cucamongans have finally made the place the Official home of the World’s Mother of All Karma Face Plants. They need to bury fatso at one of their “round abouts” and build a memorial to him. ROTFL! The most awesome Karma clip I’ve seen yet.
I was looking at e-bikes the other day and saw that at least two brands, Veloctric and Aventon have some impressive anti-theft features. These include Apple “Find My” tracking built in and powered from a battery separate from the removable bike battery, a Geo-fencing program which allows you to restrict the bike’s movement from your cell phone wherever the bike may be, and automatic wheel locking and motor disabling, again activated from your cell phone.
LOL. The crime rate in Salt Lake City is nearly 5 times that of the city where I live in California.
More LOL. The city with over 50,000 people with the lowest crime rate in Utah has a crime rate that is double the lowest one in California, which happens to be the next one over from where I live.
Overweight bike thief, probably pushing the capacity of the motor to carry him, wound up in traction at least.
I really got a *charge* out of this one.
Well, yes, riding is “safe”. (I was only nearly killed twice commuting to work. Both times hitting a stationary object.)
But, you see, one must use the proper parachute. (An umbrella into a shallow roadside puddle ain’t big enough.)
Maybe if you're an electric bike around a fat thief. It's stereotypical to equate the scum infesting the coastal and urban cities to all of California. The further you get away from these, the more the people are more like the rest of the country.
Or maybe take just the saddle and leave the seatpost?
