OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The boyfriend of the 31-year-old woman shot dead by police officers during a kidnapping attempt at an Omaha Walmart talked with First Alert 6 on Wednesday about her prior struggles.
Guzman’s boyfriend Carlos declined to give First Alert 6 a last name or show his face.
He noticed something was off with her starting two weeks ago.
He says she takes a shot every three months to treat her schizophrenia, and she was due to have another one this week.

Law enforcement did what they were trained and hired to do. They have done nothing wrong. The nut job, however, broke several state, federal, and moral laws. She did a lot wrong. She faced the consequences of her actions, schizophrenia or other wise. The vast majority of schizos do not kidnapp, slash/stab, and kill people. They mostly just use their cars as trash cans and sit around smoking pot. So she definitely jumped the shark in her decision making.
I frankly don’t care anymore. I call ‘em as I see ‘em.

True, but a VAST majority of violent crime is committed by the 2-3%. Rape, robbery, sodomy, assault, battery, home invasions, carjackings, aggravated assault, arson, etc.

Actually, she did get her next “shot” and it calmed her down very nicely.
He was probably selling her weed. They get on weed then think they don’t need the medicine for schizophrenia and go off the meds.

Weed makes the schizophrenia much worse by amping up paranoia, probably even if they don’t go off the meds.
I doubt this perp would have referred to herself as “white,” so why are you complaining this time?
I see many crime stories that do not fit an accepted narrative. There are news stories about white perps killing black people, and stories about the police killing white people.
The Right doesn’t seem to care about the first, and the Left doesn’t care about the second (unless the police kill a leftist white protester).
In this case, the story fits your narrative, doesn’t it? So, why are you complaining now?
I personally am happy the little boy survived. I hope he’ll be all right. This story is another example why the mental institutions should be reopened.
