Sounds like Congress when the communist RATs are in power....legalized theft.
The punishment is seldom severe enough.
Theft should be treated as murder. The person who is stolen from expended life—time and breath— to gain what ever it was stolen. Once taken, its not easily replaced. Severe punishment should be the penalty for theft.
And if you shoot them, you’re the bad guy.
Dems & Pubs. The majority are hip deep into corruption. The ones who are kicked to the curb out of political power, are usually the good ones.

When they steal:
They give law enforcement a case, they sometimes give the cops a chance to shoot their guns, the give prison guards, lawyers, bail people and everyone connected to the media a job. They give judges a chance to get better money than lawyers, they create need for elections and the money paid to the officials, they give politicians fodder about how they will stop it...
So see, there is an upside to crime, also. And hopefully the powers that be won’t consider them menial jobs that could be done by illegals rather than citizens. Next would be vigilantes because it doesn’t take an education or common sense. You just follow the guy in front of you.

When they steal from politicians, well THAT’S when they get caught and punished.
The rest of us? We’re just told to lock our doors and don’t respond to phone calls, emails or texts.
