Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is little more than an "empty entity" who is not at the helm of the regime, according to Israeli national security sources.
The son of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in a targeted Israeli strike on Feb. 28, is also linked to what officials describe as a "misfunctioning" regime.
"The new leader is an empty entity," Kobi Michael, a defense analyst at the Institute for National Security Studies and the Misgav Institute, told Fox News Digital.
"Mojtaba Khamenei does not appear in public, but we also have reliable information that he does not control or lead the regime or what has been left of the regime.
"The current Iranian leadership is broken, confused and is almost misfunctioning."
Mojtaba reportedly escaped death by minutes when his father was killed Feb. 28, leaving the compound for a walk shortly before an Israeli missile strike, according to leaked audio accessed by The Telegraph.

He doesn’t get a 100-day “honeymoon period” as we have in America? Let’s give the guy a chance.
Seems like just by surviving the bombings, he earns a little opportunity to see how his domestic policy decisions work out. It’s kind of a difficult job without all the bombing, anyway, isn’t it?
Iran is currently governed by a military junta, led by the IRGC. Neither Ayatollah Jr. nor President Pezeshkian have any authority. Any diplomacy with the previous Iranian government is meaningless at this point, as they have no control.
Brings new meaning to the term “empty suit.”

Let him have his honeymoon! Him and the goat! (Apologies to Captain Pike)
Mojtaba Khamenei owns property in London worth £150-200 million.
Says a lot about what he’s about, and who is really supporting Iran
Decapitation has not resulted in the collapse of this regime. The regime is a web of thousands of people who control the oil industry and its revenues, the banks, the bazaars, the clergy, the food, the military and the goons. They have weakened but have not collapsed or given up power. They know that they, their families and sycophants will be killed if the regime is in fact destroyed. They will not be dislodged with only air attacks. It will take boots on the ground, specifically American soldiers, hard fighting and casualties. If the regime survives and the enriched uranium is not recovered, this war will have been a futile exercise that will hurt the American nation. Then the demonic, lunatic Democrats will ride the backlash to take power in 2026 and 2028. Sorry. But IMHO have to agree with Rand Paul. Trump made a hasty decision, did not think it through and has involved the US in a new war that will not be easy to conclude satisfactorily and that ultimately, if not concluded satisfactorily, will cause truly harmful people to come to power in America and they will try to “traansform” and effectively destroy the nation.
The cheese has slid off the supreme cracker
I agree that this is the only way to victory, but I don't think it will ever happen.
I’ve never heard of a person being described as “misfunctioning.”
The boots on the ground are Israelis and the Iranian people. Many are working with Pahlavi and are armed. The Immortal Guard, he calls them. Many have already started, taking out the IRGC Basji checkpoints. And others have been feeding intel on the whereabouts of the regime’s officials to Israel all along.
Our troops aren’t needed on the ground.
Hey, is that you Tucker?
I sincerely hope you are correct
"Misfunctioning" is rarely used. It means "functioning incorrectly; yielding (completely) wrong or undesirable results."
Punching the button for "coffee" on a beverage vending machine and being served a piping hot cup of chicken broth could be described using "misfunctioning."
In contrast, "malfunctioning" means merely "not performing as desired; delivering substandard results."
Pressing the button for "coffee" and getting half a cup of cold, watery coffee might be described as "malfunctioning."
The difference is nuanced - and most speakers will perceive "misfunctioning" as incorrect usage.

Like an “Auto-Pen”?
The usual quoted percentage is about 15% for the portion of Islam that is Shiite.
This is largely bogus. Malaysia and Indonesia and portions of other countries outside the Middle East drive that number down to 15% because those vast populations are Sunni.
If we restrict the measurements to only Middle East countries, Shia represents over 40% of Islam.
Most intelligent sources are Sunni or Israeli and just want Shiites killed. This hatred extends back to the battle of karbala and of course that vastly predates the existence of Israel created in 1949.
Iran is 95% Shiite and wants to be led by the Shiite leadership. This delusional imagining that somehow 95% of a population is going to reject its own religious leadership is sourced in Sunni quarters. They will tell anyone anything they want to hear provided it leads that anyone to killing Shiites.
Never forget that everything happening there is focused on those two factions killing each other. View all happenings in that region through that prism.
Reportedly the Iranian President can take a hint and evinced his intent to resign from his position today. Only problem is he has no one to reign to. They’re all dead. I also read that the military if planning to destroy the payroll system and cyberattack their computerized systems to pay their troops and paramilitary. Democrats defund our troop payments while Republicans defund Iran’s troop payments
Bull.
Let the Iranian resistance reign.
They are organized and now armed.
“The new leader is an empty entity,”
Just like we had in Joe Biden.
Bump.
