Had a stroke and still here

About three weeks ago I had what seemed to me to be a serious stroke. I considered it quite likely I was not long for this world.
But medical technology has come ahead in leaps and bounds and I'm considered close to recovered at this point.
If you're having concerns about your health, see your Doctor. I didn't. If I had, I might have not needed to go through what I did.

Welcome back. Your absence was noted. Complaints about bad jokes just about disappeared.

That’s wonderful!
My brother has taken a lot longer to recover from hi stroke.
I wish you the best!

Glad you’re doing much better. Just wondering, what concerns did you ignore before it happened?

If it was caused by a clot, were you tested for a PFO, which is a hole between heart chambers that normally closes after birth, but sometimes does not? My husband had three strokes before a new doctor decided to check for a PFO, which he was found to to have. He is scheduled for a repair, which should prevent further strokes.

I have a relative who has now had at least three larger strokes and multiple minor strokes. He somehow recovers from them, and enjoys the attention and willingness of others to care for him—even wiping his butt, while recovering.
He then gets right back to WhatsApp virtual sex calls and getting everyone mad at him, including his wife, again.
Some people are incorrigible.
Please don't be incorrigible. Use your remarkable recovery to be an even better godly example, unlike my disgusting relative.

Glad you are back. If you have PT, make it a religion. You will grow your strength to overcome long term issues.
And PS: When it’s YOU, there is no such thing as a ‘small’ stroke!

I’m glad to know you didn’t die and are recovering!
