Hilton Corporate has finally taken action against the despicable ‘independent’ Hilton hotel in Minneapolis that banned ICE and DHS agents, thanks to the dogged efforts of independent conservative journalist Nick Sortor.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Department of Homeland Security’s X account shared a disturbing email on Monday showing that Hilton Hotels had abruptly cancelled reservations for DHS officers in Minneapolis for daring to round up dangerous illegal aliens.
The specific Hilton hotel in question is the Hampton Inn Lakeville property.
“After further investigation online, we have found information about immigration work connected to your name, and we will be canceling your reservation,” the email read.
In another email, the hotel warned patrons that “if you are DHS or immigration, please let us know, as we will have to cancel your reservation.”
After the DHS rightfully expressed its outrage, Hilton Corporate announced in a statement that it would investigate the matter.
Hilton Corporate later released a statement saying they had been in touch with the hotel’s independent ownership, Everpeak, who apologized and assured them the situation had been rectified. DHS agents would supposedly be allowed to return to the establishment.
But Sortor went to the hotel Monday night and quickly discovered that the statement was an outright lie.
The journalist went to the front desk and asked the front desk to book some rooms for DHS agents. He had previously conducted research and knew that there were 10 rooms available.
But the front desk clerk informed Sortor that the anti-immigration law enforcement order remained in effect, contrary to management’s previous statement. He made it clear that he had just spoken to the owner, who confirmed that no changes had been made.

Following the release of Sortor’s video, Hilton released a statement calling out the owner for lying and announced they were taking “immediate action” to remove the hotel from their systems.
From Hilton:
The independent hotel owner had assured us that they had fixed the problem and published a message confirming this. A recent video clearly raises concerns that they are not meeting our standards and values.
As such, we are taking immediate action to remove this hotel from our systems. Hilton is and has always been and remains a welcoming place for all.
I kinda figured it was a franchisee vs Corporate Hilton.
Hilton doesn’t seem like the type of company(to me anyway) to publicly pull this kind of crap. Especially when I am sure the Feds Use Hilton a lot.
This doesn’t surprise me. Hilton franchise agreements allow Hilton to terminate the brand on a hotel for a very broad array of reasons, including bad publicity.
Not much of a website.

A fairly quick and decisive action from the corporate headquarters. Not bad. I do still want to see photos of the construction crews taking down all of the Hilton signage.
And let's see government action against the ex-franchise owner of that hotel.
The punishment should hurt them badly and be very public.
This hotel? How about all Everpeak properties associated with Hilton?
The lesson here is that, in this free country, even immigrant business owners can develop liberal insufferable self-righteousness if they want to. Obviously they didn’t the secondary lesson that some times, not often enough, but sometimes, there’s a high price to pay for it. They can reflect on this when they’re standing in line to file their petition at Bankruptcy Court.
To its credit, corporate Hilton jumped on this immediately.
It seems the local franchisee must really be a woke fool.
Is Everpeak owned by the Patels?
What would be the negative implications of them losing their franchisee status with Hilton?
No Patels on these hotels, but more Indians:
🔴-Indian ownership of franchise?
Top Floor ! Penthouse ! TRUMP POWNS IT !
Covfefe !
FAFO !
The radical left and the deep state are now being rolled up, both ends towards the middle. And the closer to the middle we get, the stinkier it will become!
Did some one mention RICO ? BUahahahahahahahahahaha!
so who’s the owner?
The author of this article, “Cullen Linebarger?” That must be a nom de plume.
Apparently so. The ‘local’ management must be ‘rogue’............
Their hotel(s) would be delisted on a lot of travel websites.................
I agree. Money talks. It was ideological. Not to say that cannot happen at the corporate level, because it does.
But this one seemed so flagrant the corporate couldn’t ignore the franchise behavior.
The bed bugs are really bad there anyway. At least that’s what I heard.
Bed bugs gotta eat, too!...................
