When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.
You are not alone and you are not in the minority.
Difficult truths will soon see the light of day.

Thank you. It’s very unlucky to get both a cold and covid at the same time. I don’t recall ever having influenza but I’m pretty sure I had covid in January of 2023 when I was in the Dominican Republic. I lost my sense of taste for the whole trip and was REALLY tired the first night I arrived. Other than that, I wouldn’t have known I had anything and didn’t have a test to verify it either way. I took IVM, lots of zinc and some other things when I got home and my taste returned quickly. I’ve been lucky enough to avoid colds since I started taking more D3 about 25 years ago.
The thread is slow at the moment so I’ll tell a brief story about that DR trip. My actions could have burned down the clubhouse of the most prestigious golf club on the Island - Punta Espada. Prior to my round, I was trying on a golf shirt for potential purchase and draped my existing shirt over a big mirror sitting on the long counter in the locker room. I was pulling the new shirt over my head and smelled something burning, which itself was weird because I couldn’t taste anything. I popped my head through the neck of the shirt to see my own shirt on fire. I’m short and didn’t see the big candle with 5 burning wicks behind the mirror. Fortunately, the counter top was coral or marble and the only thing that caught fire was my old shirt that I loved and which wasn’t that old. Then I realized that I liked the style and colour of the new shirt so much that I had already bought the same shirt (different logo) in Aruba in 2022. So I didn’t want it after all and it didn’t match the skirt I was wearing, but had to buy and wear it anyway.
Upon reflection just now, maybe my inattention and failure to recognize a shirt I already owned was a sign that I was sicker than I knew. It was a fun trip anyway and I’m relieved I didn’t cause an international incident.
Happy New Year to all you folks on this fabulous thread! I can’t tell you all how much I appreciate all your information, memes, health tips, gorgeous pictures, and even the slides. I don’t post much but know I’ve been there with all your ups and downs, praying when you needed for your jobs, families, health issues, new grandchildren, and I especially feel for those with woke family members that may not ever get it. I wish all of you a blessed, healthy, productive new year! God Bless!

How about grandparents in general. I know exactly where you’re coming from sister as we’ve invested years in grandchildren and just fairly recently started with a great grand-daughter. She’s been with us since day four and now heading into year four. Wouldn’t change a thing.... well... maybe a few tweaks here and there.
