Criminals never cease to amaze.
A Florida man who was a bell ringer for the Salvation Army for the Christmas season was arrested this past week for allegedly trying to impale the store manager of a grocery store with the tripod to the donation kettle, according to law enforcement.
Steven Pavlik, 63, was found at his home and arrested. He was charged with resisting arrest and aggravated assault.
The alleged victim was the store manager at Publix in Stuart, Florida.
Fox News reported: A Florida man working as a Salvation Army bell ringer for the holidays was arrested Christmas week after he allegedly attempted to “impale” the manager of a grocery store with his donation kettle tripod, according to officials. Steven Pavlik, 63, was arrested at his home this week and charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest after he fled after allegedly drunkenly attacking the manager of a Publix in Stuart, Florida.
“Steven Pavlik tried his hand at some part-time Christmas charity work — however, drunk ringing, belligerent tidings and assault took him from bell duty to booking blotter after a full-blown charity tirade.” This was a Facebook post by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Fox News Reported.
According to the Sheriff’s department, Pavlik allegedly became intoxicated while on the job and started harassing people and creating a disturbance. The store manager confronted him about his behavior.
After being confronted, Pavlik allegedly took the tripod of the donation kettle and attacked the store manager.
According to the Sheriff, Pavlik tried to impale him, but fortunately, the store manager was unharmed.
He fled the scene but was later arrested by the Sheriff’s department at his home.
According to Fox News Digital, the Salvation Army and Publix did not offer any comment at this time.

I stopped giving during the covid outbreak when the CEO said white people’s donation needs to come with an apology. I had nothing to apologize for.
Need it be said???
“Bad Santa!”
Yup. I used to always donate. Now I say “Merry Christmas” but I give them nothing. They don’t like white people, so they are on my naughty list.
I suspect they're forced to hire bell ringers instead of having volunteers.
The volunteers would be in nice uniforms outside 1st tier chain stores whereas now I see people who look like they're homeless, wearing just a Salvation Army apron, outside 2nd and 3rd tier stores.
I meant to print up the cards “Redeemable for One White Apology In Lieu of Cash Donation” this year but only had one location where I’d see a bell ringer.
Florida Claus
Well, the manager needs to be fired for being intoxicated on the job........ ‘urinalists today. Probably can’t diagram this sentence.
Should have been: "Allegedly Intoxicated Salvation Army Ringer in Florida Allegedly Attempts to Use Donation Tripod to Impale Store Manager"
These "journalists" are either recent graduates, are foreigners, or both.
The Salvation Army has got to go. First they start a race war telling whitey he has to kiss all Kwanzaan butts for Christmas and now they’re trying to kill store managers with their tripods. Of course, their little ringy dingy is just another money moocher for me to ignore while out Christmas shopping.
Funny part, the bell-ringer was white, and was dressed like a homeless person. Part-time job away from the campsite, perhaps?
Yes, they get volunteers from AA
> I stopped giving during the covid outbreak when the CEO said white people’s donation needs to come with an apology. <
When that story first broke, I went to the Salvation Army’s website. Sure enough, it was filled with sick, woke nonsense.
So I stopped giving to them. And I had done so monthly even when I was a down-and-out college student. That money now goes to The Little Sisters of the Poor.
I was just trying to be nice.
I stopped giving while in physical confrontation with one who called my wife a “ho”, not once but three times and I was almost arrested.
Where’s Vlad the Impaler when you need him?
Now even the Salvation Army has special forces.
“I’m not surprised by this. After the Salvation Army called all white people racist, their collections dropped off.”
When did this happen? I missed that.
“Now even the Salvation Army has special forces.”
You guys are too much some times LOL
