I remember news stories from prior years. One story in particular stuck in my mind: Salvation Army buckets no longer accept money with pictures of white people on them. I reminded a bell-ringer of this story this year when he got aggressive about my donating. "Sorry, all my money have pictures of white people on them." That shut him up.

Funny part, the bell-ringer was white, and was dressed like a homeless person. Part-time job away from the campsite, perhaps?
