A Utah man accused of assassinating conservative superstar Charlie Kirk smirked as he made his first public appearance in court.
Tyler Robinson, 22, appeared inside a Utah courtroom flanked by his legal team as they pushed to further limit media access in the high-profile criminal case.
It was the first time Robinson was seen in person after making previous court appearances via video or audio feed from jail.
He was seen smiling as he engaged in deep conversation with his legal team before the hearing started.
As he entered the courtroom he smiled at the people sitting in a row reserved for family, where his mother teared up and wiped her eyes with a tissue.
Robinson's legal team and the Utah County Sheriff´s Office have asked Judge Tony Graf to ban cameras in the courtroom.
Shortly after proceedings started, Judge Graf ordered all press and public to leave the room. The defense asked the judge to allow Robinson's parents to stay, which was denied.
Graf has already made allowances to protect Robinson's presumption of innocence before a trial, agreeing that the case has drawn 'extraordinary' public attention.

Sounds like the fix is in. And the press is in on it if they didn't complain.
If I had to guess, I’d bet that they’re going to say that because him and his furry buddy are obviously nuts, he’s not culpable for shooting Charlie.
Either that, or they’ll cite the Candace Owens thing and try to make Charlie the victim of a “vast Israeli conspiracy” and claim that their guy was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.
A jury might even go for it.
He murdered a man in cold blood. A good man who had a wife and children. How about crying for them.

That statement doesn’t really help anything. I just think of it every time a mother uses the term “my baby” for an adult child, or one is in a courtroom watching the prosecution.

This trial needs to have full transparency. There’s a fair amount of skepticism about the official narrative. There are a lot of wacky theories out there, but I’ve yet to see a fully convincing case that the bullet wound is consistent with 30-06 ammo.

I have not seen a convincing case the wound is not consistent with .30-06 ammunition. There are hundreds of variations of .30-06 ammunition, probably tens of thousands if you include handloads.

The Charlie Kirk Radio Show hosts agreed this morning that the lawyer delays may cause the trial to be conducted in 2027. 2026 spent in maneuvering ploys.
I’ve always said our supposed “right to a speedy trial” isn’t what the guilty want. They want and get a slow, delayed trial (once out on bail and before the news cameras) with lots of appeals once in prison for a prosecutor’s office using tainted dna for similar cases so all the perps get out of jail and so on.

Issue—the financial statements are a bit dodgy.
That creates a totally non-political motive for a bad actor or actors.

Today I heard that the prosecutor has said that Candace is harming the case. Because of the damage she (and others) is doing, and the conspiracy theories being pushed, the case is so compromised that they may have to settle for a lesser charge on Robinson.
That stinks. Someone needs to take her out of media circulation.
