Women’s self help author and TV host the late Louise Hay said:
“Everyone started out the same. They were a tiny, helpless infant looking into their mother’s face for love. That includes the current adult serial killers who murdered dozens of victims.”
That statement doesn’t really help anything. I just think of it every time a mother uses the term “my baby” for an adult child, or one is in a courtroom watching the prosecution.
Yep. So raise them well. Love them enough to teach them to do right and avoid wrong. Love them enough to correct them when they go astray. Love them enough to protect them from, and learn to protect themselves from, evil influences. Love them enough to give them a real relationship with their Maker.
It doesn't come with guarantees ... but it improves their chances.
