Some Kirkland tequila brands that claim to contain only alcohol distilled from the blue agave plant actually include other, lesser-quality alcohols, according to a suit filed Friday on behalf of 13 aggrieved tequila drinkers in Washington and eight other states.
Tests found that some of the Kirkland-brand tequilas were so adulterated they didn’t even qualify as tequila under Mexican law, according to the suit, which was filed in federal court in Seattle.

Have you ever tried Goslings Black Seal? That’s a dark rum that you can enjoy on the rocks. It’s also outstanding in a Dark ‘n Stormy (and probably anything else...). Just my $.02.
Hood River Distillery. I drank some of their vodka, once. Once was enough.
Oooooh Goslings. That’s good stuff. Smooth.
Casu martzu ....yummy...said many animals....
Teacher’s Highland Cream.

About $15 in these parts.

Wonder how long till Sam’s Club Members Mark Tequila gets sued also. Costco’s maker and Sam’s Club tequila producer are basically across the street from each other n Jalisco state Mexico!
Oh yes, Gosling’s is wonderful! Right now I’m on a kick with Flor de Cana 12 year rum. I think my favorite for a nice everyday rum is Zacapa 23, but it’s too expensive these days, and the Flor de Cana 12 is similar enough without busting the budget.
As you mentioned, Gosling’s Black Seal is excellent. The thing about that Costco dark rum was that it was tasty for the price. I could buy 2 bottles for the price of the Flor de Cana!
MM tequila is terrible tasting. Worst ever.
